It would not be a disaster if we failed to make it out of the group . And dont just answer "because he rushes forward", because I cannot see those causing a single problem tonight.the runs dont help at all but its not that, its the fact he makes the wrong choice 80% of the time if you look back over the game if he goes for something and misses it he will just stand there and look and make no effort what so ever to get back where he should be, on he other hand Cahill will at least try, in short i just dont trust him in defence at all i would much prefer Mikel to play there ,Luiz is no CB for the last time he needs to play further forward Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think shaktar is a really really good team, real strong.Chelsea:Torres: lucky goal but not goodLuiz: omg, every time he got the ball i began shaking from fearHazard: worked very hard, also defensivelyOscar: what a goalMozes: sublimeMata: good as alwaysIvanovic: best defender tonight imoCahill : no opinionRamires: not good todayMikel: worked very hardCech: the goals weren't his faultBertrand: had difficulties covering his flankjust what i have observed for a few matches. we are conceding a number of goals down the left flank. the epl united match we conceded all 3 , today we conceded both the goals down the left. swansea had a couple of chances down the left. i think its because of the lack of cover. i see oscar defending on the right flank, and a lot of time even mata helped iva out, add to that cahill's good positioning to cover for iva and we can have a good day down the right. where as on the left only hazard helps out in defense and that too barely. he tries to win the ball every time which does not work, add to it luiz's pathetic,brainless defending and we have one of the reason y we are leaking goals down the left. their were times when bertrand had to come central instead of goin wide because luiz was no where in the picture, like towards the end of the match when shakhtar had that 2-3 shots in the same play. He's nearly there though. He's more effective in his natural (yes, natural) winger position. (He'd be an incredible wing-back.)3: I don't like Luiz as a player. If this 'Geezer' thing didn't exist and he didn't have a Twitter account, I know that literally thousands of people would admit to him simply not being good enough.4: Torres. Meh. Decent game.5: Di Matteo really does confuse me with his subs. Sure, the Moses sub paid off, but the Sturridge sub was an odd one.6: Oscar makes me reconsider my sexuality.7: Mata makes me full-on gay.8: I wish Ramires was Fernandinho.9: Ivanovic loses possession too much still.10: Mikel was alright but had some really questionable positioning at times when pushing forward.11: Watching Willian made me wonder if Marin could be our little version of him. Maybe.12: We beat incredible opposition today. They were horribly underrated by a lot of us. They are surely amongst the top 25 teams in Europe, and based on current form, amongst the top 10 for sure. Huge win.13: We weren't good enough today, despite the scoreline.14: Oscar will eventually win an award for 'best player' either of 'the month', 'the year' etc. or something along those lines.15: No. Moses is not the 'new Drogba' you silly willys.16: Hazard just isn't doing good enough at the moment. He left Bertrand far too exposed during the match, and didn't make up for it with anything magical going forward (but I did like how he linked up with Mata on a few occasions.)17: I wish someone got a knock so I could see Eva's ass.18: Terry looked cute when he was warming up.19: I will support Shakhtar against Juventus.20: This list is too long. Sheva. 5,373 Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 They both don't fill me with confidence together our concession stats when their alonside one another are terrifying, in future we have to play Terry or Ivanovic alongside Cahill or Luiz for the right balance because the Englishman and the Serb don't do great together in centre half as a partnership either.Yeah no doubt, but it's obvious that Luiz is the one that makes the most mistakes when both play together.
