Worth what? I don't understand your question.

I want it more than the FA Cup and Cock Cup combined.

Again, read the entire question. Is it worth it to win this Cup? There are people that feel that we shouldn't worry about this competition, if it prevents us from winning some other competitions like the League or FA Cup.

Hey how about this chant? We are Champions of the World, We are Champions of the Worrrrrld...We are Champions of the World

I would love it IF we won it (and that is still a big if with Corinthians around) that we turn this history line right back at Liverpool.

Something like "you may have 5 European Cups and 18 League's, but you have never been World Champions, no history".

I voted yes as well

nothing to argue over but y would u vote NO. y would we not want to win the CWC or anythin for that matter.

i think the person who started the topic wanted to know if we should prioritize CWC over everythin but ended up asking the above question.

Because it stupidly let me choose 2 options, but there are only 2 options so I thought I'd highlight the mistake by voting for both. I'm WHS, I do what I want.

We enter the UCL every season. We enter the CWC once in a blue moon. We may never get this chance again. Why i say it's bigger than the UCL is like a psychological point of view. If we are in it, we know it's because we've won the UCL. It's certainly without doubt the best completion to enter. It's also great for our global brand.

Of course I'd like to see us win it. The prestige of the tournament has grown in recent years and it seems more and more clubs look at winning the Champions League a lot more because it gets you in to the CWC. If you look at Barcelona last season and the squad they took over there to play in it was possibly there strongest, they knew what it meant to win it and took it serious so absolutely I want us to do the same

Only worth it if We Win IT. Otherwise its a wasted trip and players getting tired. Plus it could break the momentum we could possible have at that time.

But,....If we win, the trip is worth it and the momentum and confidence will continue and grow....

So.... worth it only if we Win.

It's not really even a tournament. For the only two good clubs in the tournament, it's a maximum of two games played. Barcelona used a weaker team for their first game last season. If you look at Barca's "average starting XI" (players who played most frequently), only five of them started in their first game. No Xavi, no Fabergas, no Busquets, no Pique, no Alexis, no Danny Alves. In the second game, they used a full-strength team. I think that's what we will do too. Rest some key players and have most players only start one game. Also, I don't think any player thinks "I want to win the CL so I can get to play in the CWC.".

Wouldn't be so sure mate, I remember Neymar saying he wouldn't leave Santos last season purely because he wanted to play in this tournament, he turned down Real Madrid for it

I am extremely sure. On the scale of big tournaments, the CL is a 10 and the CWC is a 2. It's like saying "players want to win the Premier League so they get a better draw in the Capital One Cup" . In Brazil, it's bigger, but it's still not close to the Champion's League. Neymar wanted to play in the tournament because his club was going to play in it but his decision to stay in Brazil was not because of the CWC otherwise he would have gone this summer. He wants to stay until after the World Cup in 2014 which will be in Brazil and he's made that clear several times as has Santos.

That is absolutely right, with an European View. In Brazil, it is pretty much "I want to win Libertadores to play vs. Champions of Europe".

What players say and do are completly different things as we have seen many times. Personal opinion is I'd be very surprised if he's still at Santos next season

I want to win it, such a hard thing to qualify for and we are the best team in it. I'd love to rub those scouse c&@£s noses in it.

Plus it's all good publicity, increasing our marketability and turn over world wide. Wish I had the wedge to actually fly out, but getting married next year so need every penny I can at the moment!
