Ollie 4,400
I don't even know how 2 people can say David Luiz, joking or not. I can't name 1 because it's not fair. Zola was amazing but Lampard, JT, Drogba, Cole and Cech have took this club to ridiculous new levels. I'd probably say Lampard if i really had to say someone

Ollie 4,400
There's no point tho, some jokes are just pointless. There are numerous threads here where people can't answer a basic question like they're trying to be funny. David Luiz has stupid hair and an interesting sense of humour, big fucking deal. As a CB, he's simply a liability.
Funkyflashman 187
From players I've seen, it's a straight fight between Lamps and Drogba. Can't pick one right now though, I'll sleep on it.Always loved watching Jimmy Floyd and Eidur link up though. Great fun.

Liquidator 5,176
In the actual poll thing I voted for Tal Ben Haim and some of my friends voted for Babayaro and Steve Sidwell
Beepu 1,714
1. Zola: I remember when i was 10, the first time i watched chelsea in 2002. I liked man utd and arsenal when i was younger and to my annoyance my dad changed the channel to the chelsea match and i saw Zola's magic, thats when i became a chelsea fan.2. Terry: everyone else other than a chelsea fan might hate him, but he is still someone i really look up to.3. Lampard: truly a chelsea legend, highest scoring midfield we ever had, and a very decent guy outside of the field.4. Drogba: CL Final endof. Plus he played a big part in ending the civil war in ivory coast, huge respect to him.5. Cech: I guess the top 5 chelsea players list wont be complete without cech I admit that my knowledge of older players is very lacking
BlueLion. 21,491
The five players truly in contention are Zola, Osgood, Lampard, Terry and Drogba. This is because the largest demographic of fans are about my age, and their fondest memories will be the likes of 30.04.2005, 29.04.2006, 19.05.2012 etc., and of the great players of this generation. Osgood and Zola are the club's two immortal legends, so they naturally will make the top five.I fully expect Zola to top it, Lampard second, Osgood third. The likes of Dennis Wise, Chopper Harris, Kerry Dixon, Bobby Tambling and Roy Bentley will all deservedly make the top ten, but really it can only be one of those I initially listed when you consider the appearances they made, goals they scored and silverware they achieved. Then honourable mentions will go to players such as John Hollins, Petr Cech, Claude Makelele, Peter Bonetti, Carlo Cudicini, Jimmy Flloyd Hasselbaink, Eddie McCreadie, Jimmy Greaves and the like.My top 10 predictions:Gianfranco ZolaFrank LampardPeter OsgoodJohn TerryDidier DrogbaRon HarrisRoy BentleyBobby TamblingKerry DixonDennis Wise

And he seems to be very liked by the other players, bringing good atmosphere into the squad.
warnie_666 1,081
1. Lampard = Mr. Consistent, Mr Dependable or whatever you may wanna call him. He has shattered most of the records. Has won us alot of Trophies.2. Zola = Magician....Great player on pitch and a great player off it. The only reason I put Lamps ahead is because Lampard contributed ALOT during our most successfull period3. Drogba = His goals won us the cups and Champions League. Any big game, you know you could bank on him.4. Terry = Mr. Chelsea. Captain , Leader, Legend. Enough Said.5. Cech = The core of Lampard, Cech, terry, Drogba HAS to make the top 5 as they played a key part during the most successful period of our club. Cech has shattered many GK records and like I said a key contributor in number of trophies we won, specially the Champions League.I would have liked to put Osgood there but I havent really seen him play so wont act like I did. Milan 17,958
Alex, that's how you think it will end up but what's your view? I remember you saying Lampard surpassed Zola for you.
Django 83
Too many post-2003 fans here. Zola, easily, for me.

If you made a real list of top-Blues of all time, he wouldn't make the top-100 at this point.
