Moses was actually very good his first six months here...he's not a bad player at all...

Agreed, I'm a fan of his game. Direct, pacy, strong on the ball, reminds me a bit of Malouda (09-10 form) but obviously not as good.

Moses was excellent for us in the Europa League, I do remember that. I'm with Magic Lamps on this though, it won't cost us anything (squad space wise) to keep Big Vic around, so why not have him around as our 6th AM? It's decent.

Change his name to Mosesdinho and a lot of opinions would change.

He's a direct player, a bit rudimentary at times but he produced on the pitch so I'm not sure why certain people dislike him so much.

Was Willian really that much of an upgrade on this guy. He wasn't worth the £30m imo and I would rather have just kept Moses. . . .they are both pacy,energetic, tactically astute , non existent/shit end product and awful decision making. one is just more hyped up than the other. I said it at the time that Willian was an unnecessary and I still stand by that.

He's clearly played his better football here when he was #10, but with Oscar on the team, he's going to spend more time than none on the wing and not do much.

As for Moses, idc he's a EL quality player. If he stays here only a matter of time before everyone complains about him, and wish we sign Di Maria...

I like Moses, I'm not sure he works hard enough without the ball to play for us. If he comes in and improves his work ethic he could do a job for us, we'll have to see.

I like Moses but Willian has 10x more natural talent than Moses, even if Willian isn't really worth £30m, and I was also one of those that said he was a very unnecessary signing.

To be honest though, our number 10 does have to be more incisive or 'brilliant' if you will in the final third. His work rate and defensive acumen are great traits but he does need to show more quality in the final third. I'm not happy with his productivity in the final third, and I'm pretty sure he knows he can do better. In the number 10 role you need to be productive in the final third. It's a necessity IMO.
