zolayes 14,489
Because Chelsea is the one stalling not Wigan. It'd be stupid to buy Moses if we're still in for Hulk. Can't have both and Chelsea obviously prioritized Hulk and rightly so.thats how I read it as well .. We are after Hulk or Cavani ..Moses is insurance

I did put a little bio and a detailled and commented statistical analysis with a comparison with Chelsea's attackers
SeB 1,281
Here it is: If you're too lazy to read the bio, scroll down to the second and third parts with the figures tables. At the very end there's a comparison with Sturridge, Marin, Hazard and Mata Enjoy http://mypremierleague.wordpress.com/2012/08/18/lets-discover-victor-moses/

SeB 1,281
Don't think we're after Cavani tbh.Agreed. He's suited for counter attack and long runs, long balls... certainly not what Roman wants now
Hutcho 8,443
Don't think we're after Cavani tbh.I think Cavani is the contigency plan if torres is not performing come january time... I agree that i don't think we want him atm though, and i have high hopes for torres so hopefully we won't need him.

nyikolajevics 2,698
Can Hulk even play well as a CF?Yep, he sometimes play forward at Porto, but he is much much better as a winger.

We need a good quality out and out CF. the club are going to take a massive gamble if they don't buy one.

Look at City. Look at United. You need at least 2 very good quality strikers to mount a challenge. We have no idea how Sturridge will do at CF this season and if Torres will fire. I don't see Hulk as a player who can lead our line if we need him to for multiple games.
Rahul Haque 57
no you don't. we did it with drogba alone and anelka playing mostly as rw. hulk is world class at rw and strike. he is the perfect solution.
