The Big Drog 1,110
Oscar should play in double pivot and that's it.No.
BleedsBlue 1,549
I urge the fans who doubt Moses to not be so skeptical as he is a promising talent and a perfect candiate for a 3rd choice striker or winger this season. There aren't many players out there who are willing to accept a minimal role and be worthy of playing for us. Hutcho 8,443
y nothazard mata marin/rambo. playing oscar as cam in his 1st season in epl seems to risky.i honestly don't see it as that risky as with Mata and hazard next to him and lampard behind him its not like we are putting all our eggs in on basket. But we (me included) are getting very off topic in this thread.
warnie_666 1,081
Moses will be wasted here behind Marin and Ramirez.

The Skipper 20,609
Leif, that's exactly how I see it too. I can imagine Hazard who's better at penetrating the ball than anyone else on our team playing behind Torres in a sort of second striker role (sort of). I think it would work pretty well. I can envision a team consisting of Torres, Mata, Hazard in the hole, Hulk/Moses, Oscar and Mikel working very well to break down those games where we face stupid and stubborn defences. SlickM32 2
This is a depth signing. Abramovich has signed it seems dozens of these 8-15 million dollar players in his tenure. Moses is a strong build player who can player up top or outwide. He is a different type of player than Marin, who is expected to be on the bench. Marin is a playmaker while Moses is more of a bruiser and strong player. And unlike Lukaku, he isn't demaning first team action.I don't see how Moses "takes up a spot."Malouda, Benayoun are likely gone, and De Bruyne, Lukaku and McEachran are going out on loan.Oscar, Hazard, Marin, Mata, Moses, Torres and Sturridge are your guys for that 3-1 formation up top.Lampard, Essien, Ramires, Obi Mikel and Romeu are going to be in the 2 holding spots. Then Meireles is on the outs. Now if they bring in Cavani, Hulk or Schurrle, then different story.

Tomo 21,751
Looking at some comments and chats i have with Chelsea fans, sometimes i am under the impression that our team will be full off teenagers if they were in the hotseat.Yes while it may give fans a sense of pride when youth products turn into first team regulars at the end of the day we are a top team challenging for trophies, young players have to be patient if they want a chance, Ryan is the prime example. Danny aswell to an extent. If we throw youngsters in the team at the first opportunity, we may be able to go home and say, we give youth players a chance but also we would be a mid table side at best and most likely lose them to a better side by the time their 22, look at Jordan Henderson, Phil Jones, Aaron Ramesy, Wayne Rooney, Sol Campbell, Glen Johnson, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, the list goes on.If players want to make it at a top club that are challenging for every major trophy, they need (along with the skill), patience and lots off it and unfortunetly not many have that.Would you rather win things or have a starting Xl that grew up within 3 miles of The Bridge? in an ideal world both but it's not realistic, i know which one i prefer.Add Rodwell to that list now.
