Yup does look better. Will it still be the last place on the net to mention any transfers, and ignore the fans requests ? probably.

Couldn't have said it better. I guess the sluggish transfer reporting gives it a 'final word' type of effect. Like, a transfer isn't totally official until the CFC website has it's say lol.

Now it looks good though -almost as good as TC

Agreed. I can honestly say the first reason I was intrigued enough to read/browse around the forum was TC's functionality and aesthetically pleasing design.

Finally they sorted that top section out and get the priorities straigt: not having the Shopping button before anything else, for example. Something you´d expect from a Clubs Website, really. Now they still have the CFC Shop in a prominent position but a little less obvious than before.

It looks good, all in all, but I have to say that I am sometimes disappointed with the lack of news you get from the website compared to other offical sports websites concerning football.

I prefered the silver one, with the trophies displayed at the top, and the loading screen being a guy doing kick ups.

Although, the new design is better than the last one. The PSG site is miles ahead of this though, it’s more interactive, they also offer fans free High Resolution images, uploaded daily.

The player profile 'conveyor belt' section at the bottom looks horribly amateurish.

The right idea, wrong execution. Compared to the rest of the page it's a bit dry. I'm still loving the update overall though, definitely.

Hadn't seen that before...it's class. I had Inter's website in mind for comparison :lol2:

Lovely design that. Might see if i can make our site have a news at the top like that.

I think the Man City site is one of the best around http://mcfc.co.uk/.

As a web developer, the Chelsea site is improving update on update, but the overall structure hasn't changed, because they using the same backend since the beginning of time.

It's a massive undertaking to redo the entire thing, which would then result in us having a quality site like PSG or MCFC.

The player profile carousel is complete rubbish as are the small fonts used everywhere. The blue footer area is also really poorly designed. Chelsea could do SO much better. I guess it does the job though!
