Wow I thought you were just trolling but obviously you don't know much about the situation.

Well the 2 big reasons he won't come is

1. He is Fixated with Barca/Madrid

2. He will cost AT LEAST €60 million

yeah, obviously a player can't change his mind, hazard said he was going to Manchester and that changed. And you reckon €60 mill would put Rom off if he really wanted him? See you've put your opinion across as absolute certainty and acted like your a knowledge on the situation when its nothing like that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Ignorance is annoying. People who know nothing about the situation/issue and talk like they know everything about it...Irritating.

But you are ingnorant at times aswell, we all are sometimes. i said i hate the way we go 2 nil up and we sit back and you said i must use common sense they saving energy, to me thats very ignorant because if you 2 nil up especially in the first few minutes and sit back, you allow the opposing team to attack you and if they score 1 goal they back in the game which could of been avoided if you just kept attacking and scored 1 more goal to kill them off. So your ignorance annoyed me.

That makes no sense. RDM obviously knew that our defence was good enough to hold wigan out. Which we did. Thus saving energy. Stop being ignorant.

ignorance is annoying as is a superiority complex when its not needed. The only person talking "like they know everything about it" is you. Anything I wrote was opinion! Read back and you'll realise that. See its knobs like you which is why I can't be bothered. This site used to be filled with peoples opinions and views, good debate and so on. Now its kids like you who think they are the fountain of all footballing knowledge and must have their opinion as fact. Shame

Says the one who thinks we'll get Neymar......says it all really. No more needs to be said about your football knowledge and intelligence, or lack of.

again you've shown your own lack of intelligence or ignorance, whichever it is. I've never said we'd get neymar (again read back) I said I THOUGHT (personal opinion)he'd be perfect for us, BIG difference. Your not doing your superior intellect persona any favors here.

I don't even see where Neymar would figure into the way we play. When you watched him for Brazil, he was literally all over the pitch. He was allowed to go anywhere at any time, and that's why he was so dangerous. You never know where he'll pop up. Would he really be able to do that here? Don't see how. I also agree with the questions about his fragility.

Hate to bump a thread but didn't want to clutter another thread. I think the absolute perfect signing for us would be neymar. Ticks all the boxes, young, resell value, super talented etc. Think the Brazilian league finishes soon so maybe an unexpected deal could yet be done. Personally hope so

No chance, if anything we need a physical player capable of holding up the ball and bringing out impressive array of attacking midfielders into the game. Neymar simply couldn't lead the line on his own, not sure he has ever been played / asked to do so.

As talented as he is I just don't see where he would fit into our starting eleven.

How old are you?

"When I left him, I reasoned thus with myself: I am wiser than this man, for neither of us appears to know anything great and good; but he fancies he knows something, although he knows nothing; whereas I, as I do not know anything, so I do not fancy I do. In this trifling particular, then, I appear to be wiser than he, because I do not fancy I know what I do not know."

Think about that statement for a while.

It would be better for us if we buy a holding midfielder, someone of the caliber of Xabi Alonso or Yaya Toure instead of splashing money on another striker.

Agreed, would prefer someone more mobile than Xabi..... I'm lost as to why RDM has ditched Romelu (spelling) seemed a great prospect.

Massive respect - quoting Socrates on a football site :)

Also to all those players saying Neymar is not physical enough for the Premiership - get a grip, pretty sure you were the same people saying Hazard wasn't strong enough. Neymar would win more free kicks/penalties in a season than anyone.

As for him drifting around - that's called movement.

It's an 'unlikely' prospect, but as our Northern Irish friend suggests - it's worthy of a discussion....

Edit: Plus, Oscar could potentially help swing the deal...

?

I hear you ref Neymar, but do you really feel he could lead the line? As good as he is I just don't see him having that in his locker.

If we bought him where would he play?

We would need a massive change in our playing style - we would need to be more like Spain - and Neymar would sit at the top of that ala Fabregas, but he wouldn't be dealing with long balls from defence - it would need to be quick movement, passing and link-up play.

I personally dont see it as likely, but City have got it working for Aguero - so we could if needed...

I'd personally be happy with Cavani though - but again, worried sick about buying another striker that flops, so wouldn't mind Berba or someone proven :P
