Oscar

If you believe Mourinho, we can expect a great evolution. Ideally, he'd be right and people will have to find someone else to complain about.

Key word there - ideally. But in reality, whether he is the player who will help elevate us to the next level is still up in the air.

I do wonder if he would get so much stick had he kept up the performances of pre Jan 17th to the end of the season.

This year he has a full pre season. I will judge this season, but he ain't going nowhere. He might be rotated more, sure, if we buy a WC right winger or another CM but I doubt he's going.

He should learn to control the ball first :Goober:

I wonder how he will perform after a normal rest. Pretty much the definition of a 0-hypothesis. If he fucks up/fades out, there will be no debate anymore on his ability/inability to play the part. As you, i remain a skeptic. Cheers mate.

Difficult for me to understand how people choose to ignore the times when he did show quality - technical as well as defensive - both for chelsea and Brazil.

BTW, never seen Oscar having any trouble whatsoever with his first touch or losing possession like Cuadrado does. His passing in the final third is what he's been inconsistent with.

Because he had more poor times than times he showed quality

That's consistency or lack thereof and I acknowledge it.

So does Jose based on his comments; who also seems to see the quality as I do.

Hardly think Jose and Chelsea coaches would be wasting time with him if they did not believe he has the quality.

Despite differ opinions, there is one thing ppl here are dead wrong about: fitness does affect technique.
