Oscar cannot even perform consistently when he's playing week in week out. So, what makes you think he'll do that as a squad player? Keeping a player for depth is one thing but keeping one who is a deadwood is another.

For games like today is why blue fox is right.

It's good to have him for squad depth.

As he can perform against crap team and that's what we need when playing FA cup and capital one.

Hiddink said this after the MK Dons game:

"Of course we have the hierarchy of penalties, Oscar is the first one to take,"

"But he gave it to Eden because everyone knows he hasn't scored for a long time due to injuries and not having scored."

Since when did Oscar become our designated taker over Hazard? :dunno::mad:

He missed 2 IIRC. One in the UCL against Maccabi then one against Stoke in a shootout. Regardless of that his conversion rate from the spot is excellent.

He also missed the one against Crystal Palace last season (before converting the rebound) and that makes it 3 penalty misses in a row.

Fair enough. I just love his cool style of taking them. Oscar fluffed his last one badly as well tbh although he did slip. Oscar takes majority of them quite cool as wellt bh. Similar style to Hazard.

I, on the contary, hate Hazard's style of penalties :D I loved Lampard's one. Almost no chance for the keeper if it's in. Of course he has missed a couple and I can clearly remember some of them, but the style and the execution of his penalties are the thing I want to see everytime. So, for me, our penalty taker should be Costa. Still remember his penalty against us in CL when he wasn't happy with the penalty spot and even got booked :D
