Hazard, CBs, lampard, KBD are all looking good. Lukaku needs to work on his technical abilities. Hutch needs to relaxe and defend. Kakuta is ok for being only 21, cant see him lasting to long. Mikel is looking Ok.

Tbh, Hazard and KDB were the only ones who really showed anyone. He is a great playmaker. But he is trying to play in Lukaku, who is having a bad game, and Kakuta who has done nothing. Hazard is the bit of light on a first half that was pretty bad... Hope he stays on in the second half.

dont know if "great" is the right word. He might be a decent playmaker but his major assets are his pace, his dribbling adn finishing ability. His passing is ok but he does not have the vision of Lampard or Mata.

Lukaku CERTAINLY needs a loan spell. You just see in a game like this against proper opponents that he's out of his depth. Kakuta as well. Just not up to par.

When Mikel gets the ball, the game just seems to freeze. Lamps was impressive, but we can't get any sustained possession in the midfield.

We need to play with more width and get it out wide. They seemed a lot more vulnerable there than when we tried going through the middle. Lukaku just looked so uncoordinated when the ball came his way. Like his body's too big for him and he hasn't grown into it yet.

A wide man like Hulk could really come in handy in times like this.

This is more or less what I expected. Half our players took no or little part of our last season, they need time to build chemistry. Not to mention PSG started their pre-season before we did and have played a match more than we have which is why we look off the pace compared to them.

Yet KDB, Hazard and Hutchinson were our best players....

I'm actually pretty impressed with what I'm seeing in Kakuta. He may not be contributing much offensively, but he's tracking back really nicely and making some runs trying to make something happen. I really appreciate that.

His passing is ok... ? He has had some amazing passes, just in the first game and a half, him and lampard are the only ones atm i am confident can do something with the ball and can keep it. We need to see more of him in our team before anything definitive, but still impressed by Hazard.

Mikel might be no KüchenXabi Alonso or Alex Song but he still is a decent holding midfielder. Tiote is just a light version of Essien at that age, who passes to opponents for fun and commits about 900 fouls a game

Lmao, obviously do not watch him then. Tiote is the best DM in the Premier League, Mikel isn't a top 4 player at all.

i suggest you watch him play more, he gets stuck in constantly and his tackles are brilliant.
