I think so. He's very popular in France and Belgium. So I can see a lot of people supporting Chelsea because of Eden Hazard. Not forgetting also that Debruyne, Lukaku and Courtois are also at this club. So that makes Chelsea a very popular club in Belgium.

If we wanted to count the total amount Real Madrid spent on Ronaldo including the transfer fee, agent fee, wages for five or six years, bonuses and everything I am 100% certain it would amount to over 200 million in total. His transfer fee alone was £80m and Hazard's will be £32m.

As for Hazard's wages it's everyone's own choice which source they want to believe. French and Belgian media reporting as of yesterday that we've convinced Eden to drop his wage demands down to £100k a week which imo isn't unreasonable at all for a player who will be a starter from day one and maybe has potential to reach the class of Messi / Ronaldo in the future. Then we have the English Manchester United supporting tabloids who are just so fucking bitter he didn't choose them so they write shit about him and suggest he joined Chelsea only because of the money and not because we are Champions of Europe (while Manure won fuck all) and probably the only team who can give him as much playing time as he can possibly handle.

That we got one bargain hardly means another player won't be worth 8 mil more. If there was another player that could both play wing and Matas position we could get for 24 mil, I am sure the club would, but the market dictates the prices, would you really rather have another season with Kalou or Malouda out there?

Hazard has been a hell of a lot more hyped than Mata so maybe he is £8m better? But anyway, player's don't get bought because of their valuation, they are brought in at how much their club will let them go for. Your watching the wrong video then, quick, direct, great feet wonderful touch, great balance and supraignly strong. Who in Chelsea's current squad comes close? We have missed someone with the ability to beat his market for fun, this lad is that guy.

Free is high, but given the lvl of interest in him from just about every major team in Europe that was to be expected.

He is going to completely change our mentality next year, not unlike Eibben when he first arrived.

Are people actually complaining about Hazard's price? Really? I can understand arguing about Hulk's inflated price but not Hazard. Look at Aguero's price. About £40 Million wasn't it? I bet people thought that was overpriced. We let him slip through our grasps because we weren't willing to pay a little extra. Than look what happened. He went and scored goals for fun and won Citeh the title. I'm pretty sure everyone would agree now that Aguero was worth every cent.

Hazard will prove his price tag as well. £32 is a good deal IMO. Hazard will be great this season. I expect him to have a great season like Aguero has. He'll become a fantasy type player that others would love to have.
