Trying to find a way that this would make sense (as it really doesn't). I can only see one way: The formation Conte wants to employ has no room for Hazard in it. If he needs his wings to play as attacking wingers AND defensive wingers, Hazard doesn't fit the bill. If he wants to play with 2 strikers, Hazard doesn't quite fit the bill.

Still, Hazard is too good of a talent to just ship off.

His attitude and comments like that are what prevent him from reaching the Messi, CR7, or even Neymar level. He has the talent to be there but has a small mentality. He doesn't have that burning desire to be the best and to dominate every match.

I really think he is trying to downplay himself and relieve some pressure prior to the Wales game. It's a way of putting more pressure on Bale. You never know though, but it's very possible, players do this all the time before big matches. I personally know how much he rates himself and the club and I'm taking this more as a "tongue in cheek" battle prep statement rather than taking it to heart and bashing "Belgians". Also, I'm not a Muslim but I find the reference to Muslim carrying a bomb a tard offensive, there are many other things to compare with, you don't have to bring religious jokes into this imo.

Search the first part of that quote - "Gareth Bale is a special player, I am not a special player..." - on Google and there is only one page of result and there's not one reliable source shown. So either BBC Wales created their own quote to hype up Bale (what a shocker!) or they blindly quoted from some trolling site.
