I think he has already, in all competitions. He had 19 goals last season in all competitions and 9 assists in the premier league alone so probably (can't find a number) more than eleven assists all competitions combined (only needs two more in other comps which he probably did).

So yes, he does contribute to 30+ goals a season

Nothing to do with being passive. He always starts the season slow. Give it a couple of weeks & we'll see him at his absolute best. His "passiveness" is why we didn't drop points today. He relieved so much pressure on the backline but intelligently keeping hold of the ball & retaining possession.

Probably should've scored that chance but still, very good nonetheless.

I think he played a really good, intelligent game. Relieving pressure, always ready to get the ball, rarely lost the ball. A beackon of stability. He should have scored though. If he did it would have been an assist and a goal by both our wingers.

I think his engine got started this match. Looking forward to seeing Pedro/Hazard next game!

Love how he wasted like 10 minutes towards the end by dribbling and holding onto the ball. Intelligent play as he helped the team to relieve the pressure, disrupt WBA's momentum. Reminded me of Drogba doing the same against United at home in 2010/11.

Good game from him. He'll benefit the most from Pedro on the other wing, you could see it today even. He'll develop a connection with him like he had with Mata.
