1chelsea 864
CR7 does have some qualities that Hazard will probably never have.Strength. Cristiano is stronger than people give him credit.Aerial Ability. He is rather tall and has strong scoring ability for headers.Pace. Hazard is fast but he isn't as fast as Cristiano. Hazard compares more to Messi in the speed department.Shooting power. He can absolutely smash the ball from a distancehe is young and had load of time over CR
Kojo 4,676
H won't go to Manure. Ferguson is on his last legs. The team is weak. I read something about them having to pay 250k a day for debts. They've got Nani, Valenia, Giggs and Young on the wings so he might not play that often and they're on the decline massively.Exactly, there's a logical post!, the Glazors are in too much debt, they can't afford to splash over 30 million on Hazard. Nevermind pay mahoosive wages.

capriccioso 2,545
Man United aren't done. Their squad which is a ragtag mix of teenagers and veterans still hasn't reached its potential. Sir Alex Ferguson is for a good reason the greatest manger in the history of this sport. I'm not going to write them off. The only difference is that Ferguson must take a more Harry Redknapp style scrambling around Eastern Europe looking for free agents, in terms of his transfer policy. CR7 is too underrated (that's right, UNDERrated) which is why people don't acknowledge what an incredible player he is. Definitely one of the best of this generation. Hazard will be close to CR7 but may not surpass him as CR7 is just something special, almost the perfect specimen.
TacticalBlues 2,817
Exactly, there's a logical post!, the Glazors are in too much debt, they can't afford to splash over 30 million on Hazard. Nevermind pay mahoosive wages. So true, Fergie is a big attraction, he made Ronaldo and when he's willing to dish out that money he will play you through thick and thin (de gea). Nonetheless it just doesn't sound viable with their astronomical debts and the fact they don't need a winger as much as they need a natural midfielder. Ok he has played this season as an attacking midfielder dropping in and out as a winger too but someone like Kagawa or Modric makes far more sense. In that sense Hazard is still cutting it tight for daily opportunities. City IMO apart from the money is a ridiculous destination, Mancini is horrid with youngsters, their squad is overly saturated and theirs no way he'll get the daily 'opportunities' his dad has talked of. All sense points to Chelsea but sometimes football doesn't make sense. However these delays are only a goo Manchester was definite a few weeks ago but now we're back in. The quicker we appoint a manger the better. If we instill that certainty in his mind that the manager will play him and he hears that for himself then I'm sure it could sway his decision. We have everything, a luxury of being an hour by train to France or Belgium and more importantly the opportunity to flourish into the world-beater we all know he can be. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I'm growing more and more confident that we will get this kid. We lost Neymar, Silva and Aguero. I don't think we'll lose another great player.
Slam Dunk 1,442
I wouldn't say Ronaldo is underrated. He is a better natural athlete (probably the best) than Messi, but Messi is a better natural footballer. Frankly, I haven't seen enough of Hazard to be able to make any comparisons, but I don't see how he HAS to be compared to either. Can't he just be Eden Hazard? In a few years we could be comparing up and coming players to Hazard and Gotze rather than CR7 and Messi, but for now we can't.

Cosmin 2,484
Cristiano Ronaldo isn't underrated. The problem is that the media treats him and Messi differently. This is what we're talking about, Messi vs. Ronaldo, because they are the leaders of this generation even if we like it or not, even they are worth it or not.The media likes to make Messi look like this "saint sent by God on Earth to teach everyone football, the angel who never drinks, never has more girlfriends and lovers than he should, etc." Ronaldo, on the other hand, seems to be the antagonistic in this situation. "He's a great football player, BUT that's not the main thing about him". He's arrogant, he uses tones of hair gel, and other stuff like this. That's why people don't really see how fantastic Ronaldo is as a player, because he's always put in the shadow of Messi and his qualities are very often put in the shadow of his flaws as a human being. Remember how almost no one said a thing after Messi shot that ball to the Real Madrid fans in the past season? No one said a thing after Messi hit the microphones after he scored against United in the UCL final. But when Ronaldo pushed Guardiola because he was stealing time, everyone was dismayed and shocked and mocked Ronaldo for weeks.Sorry for the off-topic comment. On topic: Hazard has a huge potential to become one of the greatest, but he needs to stay focused on his work and to stop thinking about money and who pays more. This is why players like Balazs Dzsudzsak go to Anzhi and end their career. He must think about where he can improve as a football player, where he can win trophies, because this is what makes him a great football player, not the money. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Spot on Cosmin. The unfair treatment of CR7 is sickening. It's not like Messi is by far the better player. Only a bit better and lately the roles are being reversed. Messi is becoming the big game bottler and Ronaldo the one who steps up and performs. But of course Messi's friends at UEFA will give him the Ballon D'or year after year....
Kieran. 6,317
He probably won't be worth 200,000k a week but I expect him to stay for a couple years, then we can sell him for twice of what he bought him for.
