whinni09 37
if his price is so low, then why haven't other clubs sharked in already?Would guess that he wants to stay at Lille until the end of the season. But would be great if we could lure him with some high wages and give them Kalou.
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
If anything I'd hope that real get him so that we can get di Maria. Do you think a 20 odd player who used to start at Madrid would like warming the bench?? And don't forget Neymar whose is just looking for a house in madrid cuz we all know he's goin there. So I don't mind if any of the wingers go to real cuz we'll just scoop one up in the end.

headhunter23 70
33 million is nothing for this immense of a talent. The lad is 21 years old, we should pay whatever it takes to get this guy and by whatever I mean 40-50 million if neccesary. In a few years if he is the next big property in europe like ronaldo-esque, what does 40-50 million really mean? Madrid paid 80 million for ronaldo blah blah, has he been worth every penny? I assure you real would make that deal a hundred times over. I kno its a bit early to correlate this guy to ronaldo but I would rather not see him in a farca or real shirt in 3 years, seeing him tear our team apart in the ucl, knowing we could have had him for 40-50 million. Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
^^But our true competitors are barca and real when It comes to transfers. And everybody knows the revolving door at city. So I'm confident, that's all!! people need to learn to look at the glass half full instead of half empty.
imlukaku 13
You seem pretty sure that it will be us. You already have a Hazard banner I don't think he will come to Chelsea. He wants to stay at Lille till Summer. And in summer every top club will make a bid for him , i'm afraid Chelsea won't win that bid war. But I would not get sad if Götze or someone els came instead of him. I do think unfortunately you're right about all the clubs begging for him in the summer, but we could always keep our fingers crossed. BlueLion. 21,491
One thing intruiges me about boy-out clause scenario... what if multiple clubs submit an offer that triggers the release? Does it go down to the player's preference or is a bidding war started?

BlueLion. 21,491
Thought so, in that case Lille could be doing themselves out of a lot of money with Hazard!!
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Our only chance Of getting Hazard is this window, but like always we won't be able to wrap up a deal, Seriously just pay an extra 7 million and get him, What are we a budget club like ARSEnal? this kid will be worth every penny
Wilson 358
I really hope we get him this window.
Zola kinda blue 89
Player preference. Clubs offer him contracts and he choses which one to sign if he wants to sign any.Thats what we should do - force him to choose right now.Now Cahill is signed up, send Gourlay over with a big fat offer tied up in pretty red ribbon and lets see if the club and the player is serious.Enough of this pussy footing around. It will probably take 2 weeks to sort out, so lets get it started NOW!

I have a feeling that it's just a twitter rumour that everyone started spreading as fact
Severinb 309
'In the January transfer market you can overpay and you don't have maybe the talent that you want available and you end up maybe choosing players that were not your first option regarding your future project. That's why apart from Cahill we don't expect anything else,' the 34-year-old explained.AVB said that it is on the chelsea site!Hope its only his transfer talk We cant miss out on hazard this month! Hazard could be the next CR7 and if he waits until the Summer Hazard will be going to Madrid for sure, and AVB will be at fault again *cough* Aguero *cough*
