This is why we feel he's worth bale esque money or more. He is just as influential as bale when they're both on form and his dribbling n link up play is incredible. I hope we don't let him leave and do all we can to keep him at the club. We shouldn't be like other teams and let our best players go.

Getting Nainggolan would helps him out to have better midfield.

Getting stones would help in getting better defense.

So basically we just need to focus solely on mid and defense this summer. AM and strikers should be good for another season if we keep hazard, Costa and Fabregas.

Revelling in the rivalry:Eden Hazard

Quote

In the wake of a dramatic London derby last night Eden Hazard spoke about his goal, a cracking Stamford Bridge atmosphere, and the new Premier League champions…
Introduced at half-time with Chelsea trailing by two goals and with our proud unbeaten home record against Tottenham in serious jeopardy, Eden Hazard produced probably his best 45 minutes of the season culminating in that stunning late equaliser.

The Belgian has, by his own admission, struggled to replicate his scintillating form of seasons gone by this campaign, but he was happy to make a telling contribution on the big stage last night.

‘It feels like a victory,’ he said.

‘There was a great atmosphere. We know Tottenham haven’t won at Stamford Bridge for many years so it’s good for us the players, and for the fans too. We know how important it is for them that we win derby games, or at least don’t lose them.

‘I like matches like that when they’re very hard and there is so much rivalry between the two teams. It allows me to find my best form. It’s football at its best.

‘Recently I have rediscovered the pleasure to play,’ Hazard added. ‘When you’re injured it’s hard to get that pleasure back. I played 45 minutes and I gave my maximum.

‘It’s been a complicated season for Chelsea and for me. It hasn’t been like last season but we have three matches left and we want to finish well by winning all three.’

Hazard’s goal, his first in the league at Stamford Bridge since the title-clinching victory over Crystal Palace last May, was sumptuously struck and befitting of the occasion.

‘I went past a couple of players and gave it to Diego. He did a great turn and passed it back to me perfectly. I was in the right position to shoot and…voila!’

The result confirmed the destination of this season’s title and the man who played such a pivotal role in our triumph last season also paid tribute to the new champions, Leicester City.

‘Congratulations to them, they deserve it. It’s footballing history. We had something similar at Lille a few years ago when we weren’t the favourites but we won the title.

‘It’s something beautiful for the world of football when a smaller team does something like that. Next season I hope we can have a better season and get the title back.’

We need a good back up striker for Costa cause the FA are anti-Costa and we need good cover when he's gets suspended from games

yeah but that might be a lot of money. If we are spending big this summer I rather most of the funds go for midfielder and defense.

HAHA. What perfect timing. I think that will definitely get the majority of people's votes :D

I know Willian has scored some terrific free kicks this season but that's goal of the season IMO. No keeper in the world would have saved that. A perfect strike in every aspect.

Not to mention the tackle, the turn from hazard, the burst of pace, and the link-up play between him and Costa were all superb.

Today I read on an other forum that Hazard got this season 35% less passes then last season. And William and Oscar got 20 % more passes.

Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Could be the reason why Chelsea was this bad this season, the likes of fabregas Oscar William and Costa where thinking they are great to and wanted a bigger piece of the py.

Where do you see his position if we play 3-5-2 next season? He is not suited to be winger/wingback but he could do well as second striker, something like Dybala did for Juve this season? :)

We won't play 3-5-2.

1 We don't have the players,

2 Conte only played that formation because it got the best out of the players he had.

HAZARD LOOKING FORWARD TO STAY WITH CONTE

Quote

The Belgian superstar has been talking to our club’s official website and reading what he has said can be a very good tool to ease the pain at these dark times. Hazard sort of confirmed that he is intending to stay with us despite the horrendous season we’ve had, and that he was excited to team up with Conte to lead the revolution next season:

“Yes the game is important, but also the next one and the next one and the next one. We have four games to play and we want to finish the best we can. Four games and if we can beat all of the four opponents it will be good.

“It is important to finish the season well, for the players who go to the Euros and to prepare for the next season, because we have a lot of games again to play next season and if we want to start really well next season we have to finish this season well.”

“Every season is different but for the last six years I was at the top. When I was in France I was on the top and it is the first time in my career when I feel I am not on the top, but I need to learn. I am still young, I need to learn every day. I hope it will be better next year.”

“Of course I am looking forward to working with Antonio Conte. It is good to work with the best managers in the world. But we have a season to finish, he has a job to finish with Italy but we want to work together.”

“When you are on the pitch you are concentrated just on beating the team but you can feel in the stadium that the atmosphere is a bit different when you play Spurs than playing other teams, because for the fans it is very important and for us as well.”

It is undoubtedly music to our fans’ ears to hear(or read) Hazard’s words. Our reigning player of the year remains the undisputed best asset that our club have, and we should never consider for a second letting him go for any sum, no matter how high.

A good example of why Hazard is essential for our club is what Bayern Munich did with Ribery, back when he was their main and only star player, and wanted to sign for Real Madrid. Who in turn were prepared to splash out on the Frenchman, with then incoming president Florentino Perez wanting to kick start the Galacticos policy with a bang, but the Bavarians, who were in a relatively worse situation than our current one, refused to let go of their best player and decided to wait and build the team around him.

Then came a bargain from non-other than Real Madrid themselves in the shape of Arjen Robben, who was followed by a few youngsters from the academy (Muller and Alaba) and a few other imports who plugged all the holes in the team and boom Bayern became a formidable force in the world of football again.

A lot of that goes back to the decision not to relinquish their best player, even when he himself wanted to leave, and make him a centerpiece for everything they wanted to build, and Chelsea should be thinking of emulating Bayern if we want to be back at the top bracket of elite teams in European football.
