OneMoSalah 8,886
I saw the game today, Chelsea played but it pained me to see Hazard like this. He was shite So shy, unwilling to display all of his abilities, i don't understand why. He is reluctant to dribble whereas in Lille he managed most dribbles than anyone else in the league. He tries to be a bit too collective, in order to not get too much responsabilities. That doesn't fit to his character at all, at Lille he was the man, he carried the team and he loved it.Maybe he's tired in that case RDM should put him at rest soon. Maybe it's a lack of confidence, and then it won't get better without at least trying to make the difference by himself. He has the abilities to create so much danger, to eliminate on his own one or two defendes before releasing the ball...Hes still adapting to the league and the system we're trying to play I guess, as is Oscar. Wait a while yet and he will soon be playing as good as he did in France. zolayes

Jack Uzzi 54
I saw the game today, Chelsea played but it pained me to see Hazard like this. He has the abilities to create so much danger, to eliminate on his own one or two defendes before releasing the ball...Think he was completely absent in the 1st half, but much more involved in the 2nd with a fantastic assist on top of it.But you have a point of course.Compared to how he played at Lille he looks indeed shy. Maybe he doesn't get too much in a position to take on players, restricting himself therefore to crisp passing and movements or RDM indeed restricts him. Another explanation could be that it is simply not that easy to get passed players in the PL as it was in the Ligue 1. I've noticed today he tried to do it much deeper in the field, and being happy to be fouled. This may change in time though if he grows more confident and stronger physically. Henrique 9,133
I agree. Yet the EPL seems to think differently.I lost all respect for EPL official stats. I remember one game that Ballack took a very nice free kick, the ball hit the post then GK's back and went to the net. It was considered an own goal.I dont know how that could be assist. That doesnt matter, anyway.
5354 204
i think hazard still in the process of adapting. he knows that he will not get PKs that easily and ref doesn't call for fouls easily.that might be a point on why hazard does not want to take unncessary risks. i mean its better to pass than try to get pass a pllayer and loses poession.how many times we saw ref didnt give fouls for oscar, hazard and mata when they are out muscled or being blocked off the ball? CHOULO19 24,332
Another good performance, only criticism from me is that he needs to take defenders on more often when in one-on-one situations. Needs to train more often with Danny

But that's physics for you.

He's only played like 7 EPL games and people are already worried about his place in the Belgium national team.I personally don't think we'll see the best of Hazard for another season or two..just like his Lille manager & quite a few of his Belgium team-mates suggested.
