Kojo 4,676
At your service People are saying Gervinho had a better record, so was it because Hazard was totally man marked that's why his stats aren't better?.
Jusek 2,031
Here's a good video of Eden against some crappy EPL team. It's only one game but this somewhat proves that he can handle Premier League teams too. He is the number 26 with yellow boots.

Hazard started playing for them when he was 17.
Superblue 6,372
I must admit I am really looking forward to Hazard and Mata linking up. I can see both of them over time striking up a very productive partnership which would involve both roaming between the centre and left making it difficult to pick either up and having a player who looks like he is capable of being on Mata's wavelength will be a big plus!I also see Mata having a stellar season next year, even more so when teams can't man mark him because they'll be much more afraid of the creative quality alongside him now. Hkibou 622
People are saying Gervinho had a better record, so was it because Hazard was totally man marked that's why his stats aren't better?.There are two things to say. That you are right, but also wrong saying his stats weren't better than Gervinho's.Your first guess is indeed right, Gervinho is a great player to play deep and he makes good runs so he benefitted a lot from all the space Hazard generated. And even if Gervinho had incredible stats, everybody in Lille knew Hazard had still been better, and even had better stats : the year we won the title, he "only" scored 7 goals and gave 11 assists, BUT he was at the origin of 85% of Lille's all season goals !!So if you take under consideration not only goals and assists, but also the pass just before the assist (sometimes it's the more decisive one), his stats were a lot better than Gervinho's.That's why he was 2011 Ligue 1 best player of the year while Gervinho wasn't nominated

jjd06e 37
Some interesting stuff I have seen on twitterWhoScored.com @WhoScoredEden Hazard: Won the most penalties (6), was fouled the most times (145) & got the 2nd most assists (16) in the top 5 leagues this seasonOpta @OptaJean15 - Lionel Messi & Eden Hazard were the only players with at least 15 goals & 15 assists in the top 5 European leagues last season. Talent.
