I think we could have predicted that none of them would leave Porto this year due to their chairman being an absolute fucking cunt demanding about 20 million more than Hulk is worth and maybe 10 more than what Moutinho is.

It would be nice to have him but all this drama will he come or not, I dont realy care anymore. It became a routine more than a need to say Hulk must come here. We have a right back, his name is Ivanovic. We are looking for a backup right back not a starting one. So how can the need for a backup right back be greater than the need for a starting RW when we have NONE?

we have a Rb who is cover for the CB position too. who happens to be just one player so if he went down we`d be in trouble at both the RB and CB position. JT and Luiz have shown that they can rarely go on a stretch without missing time through injuries.

we have options for RW/RM Oscar is probably gonna start there atleast until Lampard retires or goes "missionary" to the states. then there`s other options like Ramires,De Bruyne,Hazard if needs be.and Marin ..they both may prefer the left flank but they have played out wide and are right footed so shouldn`t be a problem.

The problem you guys are looking at is you're looking for a £50 million performance. You won't get that from Hulk, because he isn't worth that. You will only get that from the Iniestas and Messis and Ronaldos of this world.

I think that Hulk is still going to come, to have a player who can play out wide and can also play as a striker is what we need, especially if we are as i would expect now to send Lukaku out on loan. Torres is going to be the main man for pretty much all of the season (fitness permitting), so if we are going for a big name player then they need to be able to play other positions. Signing a young striker would be pointless as we would be just as well to keep Lukaku and have Torres, Sturridge and Lukaku as our striker options.

I'm certainly not expecting a £50 million performance from him, i'm am just expecting to be impressed by him and i am yet to be impressed by Hulk at all!
