pachman40 357
Before the thread was locked previously, Benfica upped their demands to £28m by insisting we pay the outstanding fee to the Brazilian club and the agent's commission at which point, we walked away because Benfica were taking the piss. We called their bluff and now they've come back. Let's hope it goes through now.Where did you hear that? That's completely contrary to everything I heard in Portugal and contrary to anything I heard or read anywhere else.
magic weeds 446
Did they not reject a £17 million bid for Luiz??We're offering them the same amoung up front, and they've accepted it! I'm amazed by that! But it will rise to £21m later on though!and they rejected £32m during the summer from Citeh :eyebrows:

milllz 43
if this does go through, do you think he will need as much time as ramires to adjust?
magic weeds 446
i dont think so, even though Ramirez did not take long to adjust to the premier league. one thing is sure, He will not play in CL. Glad Torres will.So probably Bruma off to WBA

Corlett 202
BBC - Right then... worrying developments for Chelsea fans, if what worries you is completely speculative chat on social networking sites... word on the Tweet is that Benfica have "pulled David Luiz off the plane to London" and say they are "analysing" Chelsea's offer for the centre-half. I reiterate, that's unconfirmed as far as I know.

termninja 5,290
It is quite possible that we sign him. Why? Because we were short of few millions, and with Roman pulling out 50 I think he has some pocket money left to add for Luiz ^^
