Santiago. 1,500
You can bring out all the pictures you want, but the men himself you are praising put Bielsa above him! That logic is beyond irrational. For a man being humble and claiming a certain coach is the best in the world, gives him a permanent label on him declaring that?Xavi said Scholes is the best midfielder of his generation. Does that make him better than Xavi? The Spanish are always humble ffs, i should know.

Santiago. 1,500
Well I believe Xavi.Scholes has been one of the best ever. And when Rooney chose Xavi for his fantasy ultimate team over Scholes, does that make Xavi better than scholes?Your idea in realizing who is a higher level than another is beyond irrational. Taking one man's belief, without taking into consideration the actual reasoning behind his claims and disregarding the mere fact the level of success and quality differences each two have. "he says he's better, so he must be the best'

Santiago. 1,500
Because their 'silent rivalry' is more powerful and drives them to perform better. Messi claimed Ronaldinho is the greatest barca player who ever lived, does that make him better than Messi?

That was one of the most amazing times I ever witness. It was magical!

Tomo 21,751
You can bring out all the pictures you want, but the men himself you are praising put Bielsa above him! It's called being humble, if i in magical fantasy land i was the best player in the world playing for Chelsea and someone came up to me asking if i was better than Heskey? i would not say yes even tho i know i am. Santiago. 1,500
I think he got the point..you just didn't give good examples What's my point then? Well...if Bielsa had Messi in his team...Not even relevant. What Pep will be known for the most is unlocking the full potential of Xavinesta and Messi, two of the worlds greatest midfielders and the worlds greatest player, and could be even credited for the success of Spain and their World cup succession for the pass and move philosophy being brought up by Del Bosque. Shane 2,275
Torres scoring against him was the final straw.Losing to a team that had Kalou and Bosingwa on the pitch were also a factor in his decision

Santiago. 1,500
By "actual" point do you mean your original argument? The one which started two pages back? Taking the fact that because a certain someone is being 'humble' and states a person that they are currently the best at what ever they do, makes it true because he said it, using it as back up support which is irrational. Pep to BieslaXavi to ScholesRooney preferring Xavi over ScholesMessi to Ronaldinhoetc...

Santiago. 1,500
Your opinion. I would say no. When it was first introduced than re-assembled by Cryuff, pep experienced it first hand and recreated it with his own philosophy of a false number 9. Ronaldinho better than Messi? Yet again i would say no, a better entertainer yes, better footballer, no.

I could also say Ronaldinho had more in his locker than Messi ever did. Overall, a better attacker, who could also create chances for others around him with his vision.
