Term-X 7,891
City winning the CL would be insane just as this sentence ^^Zolayes would rather City be in the Champions league than the Europa league, please explain to me the logic in that?.. other than more prize money, and potentially equaling our record. That may not be the case for EL since Pele might not care as much as Rafa did.

They are much more likely to drop points after a mid-week CL game against Real than after a meaningless match against Steaua. zolayes

City winning the Champions league would be a greater achievement than us winning the league. Anything that gets them closer is a bad thing.. Anything that gets them closer is a bad thing..But they have next to zero chance of winning regardless of whether they qualify to the knock-out rounds. That's like saying you don't want Westham or Southampton beating City in the league because Westham/Southampton winning the league with such low budgets would eclipse all of our PL titles! Jase 43,479
That penalty decision for Schalke in stoppage time against Sporting Lisbon was a disgrace. How did the referee deem that to be an intentional handball is beyond me. What were the linesman or even the fifth official behind the goal doing?! Even that Bayern penalty against Roma was a joke of a decision.

Nah, it's not the same.. in a cup competition anything can happen (so it's plausible that City could win even now), the league is all about consistency. We went through so much shit to win just one, if City win it after one good run out of the group that would be horrible. Even progressing to the semi's would increase their status and they'd get a nice chunk of prize money too, which isn't good for us.

Actually, never mind intentional, wasn't even a handball in the first place. To take quote Garry Monk's words, that was a disgusting decision! RoyalBlues 4,050
Just seen Roma Bayern highlights, Roma GK is trully abysmal. They badly need Cech.
