The quote about 9/11 is spot on, Whay can't they play exactly? Because they've said they won't, and the FA lack the balls to tell them they should do. It almost seems they're doing it these days to screw over other teams, Of course the FA would never do anything about it, it wouldn't be politically/emotionally incorrect to do so, that's the kind of world we live in I suppose. As for the fans who are sending Alan Davies death threats? Saying he's being insensitive but then sending him death threats? Scum the lot of them, plain and simple.

I'm heading down to Wembley on sunday, I will respect the minutes silence but only for the dignity of those who died at Hillsborough and our own reputation. If we didn't respect it we would be villainised as insensitive thugs in the press on monday morning, and in this day and age one bad headline could turn the opinions of millions against us.

23 years ago -I can still remember watching it unfold -the Forest fans continued to hurl abuse, but to be fair no one knew 96 people had died by then...and about 800 injured. Until South Yorkshire cops are held accountable, the Justice for Hillsborough campaign will continue

Chelsea have released a statement about the behaviour of some of their supporters at Wembley, who failed to respect the minute's silence in memory of the 96 victims of the Hillsborough disaster and Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini, who collapsed and died after suffering a heart attack during a Serie B game on Saturday.

It reads: "Chelsea Football Club is extremely disappointed that a very small minority of fans embarrassed the club today by not honouring the moment's silence before kick-off.

"Chelsea FC believes all moments of respect should be honoured and today we pay our full respects to all those that suffered as a result of the Hillsborough disaster 23 years ago."
