Us Lebanese are extremely proud of our food and will gloat about it in every occasion possible. But yes, it is the best food in the world! But Beirut, man, you forgot some of the most important elements of the Lebanese cuisine: Olive oil (that we just love to talk about how much healthier it is than normal oil), my favorite what we call "yakhneh" which has many many types and is usually some sort of vegetable like spinach cooked with meat and seasonings with cooked rice on the side, and finally no Lebanese dinning table is complete without the best salad in the world: Tabouleh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
