Badboy 1,526
I will start it off, i would say i'm working class even though i run a family restaurant. I think class is not purely on your wage structure but rather your social tendencies. A YouGov poll done in 2010 said that the majority of people in the poll thought a salary of between £40,000 and £60,000 is middle class but i think its more then just your ''salary''. What class do you consider yourself ?
Rubber bullets 1,183
I honestly hardley ever care what class I'm in. My parents would call themselves working class, or brought up in a working class life. But looking at their combined wage its right in the middle class section and we cartainly don't live in a council house in Hackney. Which is as Badboy says is a much more complicated issue and not just black and white as some people make out to be.I just realised that me and my Dad only talk about football. Its the only topic I can talk to him about since he has no interest in what I'm studying at University (History, politics and a little bit of Philosophy). Yet my uncle is a complete History buff who reads lots of books on Historical topics and can get through a book in only a couple of days. And yet he lives on his on in a small flatt and is on a low wage. So like I said I hardly think about what class I'm supposedly have to label myself in
zolayes 14,489
it isn't which class you labelled but whether or not you have "class" Sven had "class" Arry never will have and Zola had "class" ouzing out of everypore
manpe 10,861
I thought in modern world the term "class" is abandoned? Everybody is equal bullshit thrown out. Of course it's not true, classes still exist.Anyway, what class would you label me if I'm just an unemployed person? No salary, that must exclude middle class, definitely working class... I guess I'm scum class then. Yeah, I'll stick with scum.

CHOULO19 24,332
I have honestly never thought about that. Financial wise, I'm still a student so I don't work but I guess my family is probably lower-middle class.Weird question to ask BB.
