No we wouldn't, the only one I would have here is Cristiano and obviously at his age he wouldn't be a good buy, and you can check that for example on Moutinho thread of William Carvalho.

And I'm one of Kevin's biggest fan since his first spell in Germany and I was always the one to defend him when some of the same people wanting him back now were calling him shit last season. BUT it was clearly not working out for him here for various reasons, some of it because Jose, some because of Kevin himself, and some just down to bad luck.

Maybe had he stayed after Mata left he would have been able to turn it around, but we can only speculate. But we always knew that he was a top talent and obviously so did Wolfsburg and that was reflected in the fee we received. I'm very happy to see him developing so well and proving himself more and more, but that does not in any way change the fact that the deal we got for him was very good.

In a deal where literally ALL the opinions at the time fell between "excellent business" and "take it and run we've ripped Wolfsburg off", you cannot with any legitimacy criticize the club and manager now in retrospective unless your criticism is that the board should have used the time machine in Roman's secret lab to see how he develops at Wolfsburg before agreeing to the deal, and even then it remains a good deal considering the circumstances at the time.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, try to be more happy for Kevin and less bitter towards the club.

A decision that was borne out of Jose ostracizing him like he does to every player he doesn't particularly rate or deem good enough to start regularly. He was forced to leave due to his place in the national team for the world cup was at jeopardy due to lack of game time. either way, Jose's stubbornness and reluctance to rotate his squad is toxic and should be rightly criticised . Cuadradro is already experiencing the same treatment.

Out of the club, you mean. I don't even think Oscar has what it takes to be an impact-sub off the bench. It's beyond me how we sold Mata and KDB while Oscar has had about 5 top-class games these last 2 seasons.

I think any top manager with an ego (Jose, Van Gaal, Fergie etc) will clash with players at some point and in most cases, the player is sold or the player asks for a move away

I never said Jose's treatment of players is okay...but he's a top manager and sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.
