Kevin de Bruyne

Well just because you hear he does that, that does not mean he has a bad attitude. He loves football and has shown the right attitude to be where he is right now. From QPR U18 to Liverpool U18/U21 all the way to the first team within the space of three years... then after breaking into the Liverpool team so rapidly, a few years down the line he joins Man City and becomes the most expensive English player in football history.

You don't reach where he is at the age of 21 by having the wrong attitude. The evidence is there that he has the right attitude.

Media deceives people.

That might be the case, but such actions portrait that attitude IMO. The price tag has very little to do with his ability as of now. It's based on him being HG and potential. You need to have the right attitude on and off the pitch to fully harness that said potential.

We'll see how his career goes in the next years.

To be honest, when you're comparing him to the Wilshere's and Abonglahor's of this world he isn't the worst of the bunch. It's the way it is now that English kids are ruining their own careers because of how much they're being paid domestically now. Only really, you can argue, Barkley and Stones are keeping their head down. Lindgaard and Rashford to an extent, but none of these players have demonstrated the talent Raheem has.

I'd also argue his case of being more mature then he's given credit for. Although his Liverpool transfer wasn't exactly how he planned it, but he went to City with an enormous transfer fee which didn't phase him in the slightest. He's only seeing the bench  now because he's injured. Even Pellegrini knows Navas or Nasri doesn't have a thing on Sterling

To keep this in context of Kevin, none of these City youngers are ready or a finished product, which bring me back to my OP. The potential of this city team with KdB, Sterling, Aguero, Silva, Iheanacho... Well Guardiola won't be out of talent put it that way, on top of who else he plans to add.

Yes, but he got where he is today ultimately through hard work. How many players do you hear of playing for a Championship's team U18 being scouted to Liverpool and coming into the first team. Let's not forget that he did not have it easy growing up as well with his background and area he was brought up in. I don't think there are much who made huge strides like that. Yes, his fee was inflated because of age and English but they bought a player who has shown a lot of potential and quality, albeit inconsistent. He is 21, yes.

I think his career is only on the rise with Guardiola coming in tbh. Can't see how anyone says he does not have the right attitude.

I'm not a Liverpool fan or know every inch of his career path to date, so the headlines are what I'm mainly going by. Smoking, drugs and drinking aren't good choices for most people IMO, let alone footballers. More time improving his game and less time party will alter that perception.

Either way, Pep won't be having none of those antics.

He chose Courtois over Cech, how's that working out for you?

Allofs also stated if de Bruyne isn't the main man, his performances in training aren't the best.

That topic is the number one in all CFC communities atm, even the rags are talking about it, lol.

Nothing new.

People told us about this before he came back, we just didn't listen.

Now we know for real that Mourinho is crap with younger players.

But my question is, if now we know that was a mistake in getting this man back, have we learned by getting Conte?

Is Conte more able to take time with younger players?

Really Pogba claimed Conte's attitude is if your good enough your old enough, which would make him better than Jose.

To be fair anyone with a pair of eyes knew Pogba was going to be a great player, supposedly. Even Mourinho had his pay offs with using Varane and Zouma from early ages, but they were exceptional talents that were signed from other clubs, no claim to being academy graduates.

When Pogba arrived at Juve, or Varane at Real, neither was bigger talent than Kdb when Mou shipped him away. Infact Kdb had brilliant season at werder, yet Mou completely overlooked him. Then Luis fiasco. Bought Baba, but didnt play him. And Lukaku and Falcao. Etc. I still think Mou is great coach, but one Varane/Zouma doesnt make up for all fuckups he made with youth (and even older players) in 3 years here.

Very bad game, showed nothing today, except of misplacing passes and more importantly, no fucking leadership when his team needed him most.
75 mil player and brought nothing to the table, have you seen his free kick?! Good position, but he couldn't even keep it in, was that bad, lol
But i see, the thread is only active when we can moan and insult a Chelsea legend who actually won us titles, lolz
