Frank Lampard

Jose' is probably the only manager who could persuade Lampard to adopt a lesser role at the club. You could argue Benitez has already done that, but there's a difference between being stuck with an interim and being persuaded to sign a lesser contract with a lesser role.

The timing couldn't be better for him really.

Talk about deja vu... look at Frank Lampard's movement, action and posture in these two goals... jump included!

Alex, that was exactly what was going through my mind when I saw him passing towards Luiz and Luiz scoring that cracker! Also, the very same end and corner.

yup, also noticed that. but in 600 games for Chelsea things can repeat themselves. But it was also really clever from Lamps in both situations, as Essien and Luiz where far better positioned for a shot and the lay off was inch-perfect for both players to hit.

Of course - my point is Frank's movement was, to the inch, identical! :D

I will be so excited if Lampard goes to LA Galaxy if he indeed leaves Chelsea! They will be playin the opening game on Palmeiras new stadium that will be called Allianz 360 on Feb 2014 and I would be able to watch Frank play...:)

The midfielder, 34, turned down a contract on substantially less than his present £150,000 a week salary in February, but the mood has changed markedly among the men who matter.
With Mourinho’s name on everybody’s lips in west London, Lampard has been assured his future will be with Chelsea when the Portuguese coach accepts the job.

Yeah, that shows how much he really loves the club and would do anything to stay here .

If is the case then he should fuck off to LA, where he won't have to do "demeaning" things like promoting the clubs new kit with the pain idea.

After playing rather poorly in the last 2 games at OT prior to yesterday, thought he did well this time with Ramires despite United played a weak team and didn't bother at all. Didn't venture too much forward and protected the back 4 well, with and without Ramires, when needed particularly when the latter bombs forward.

Beginning to think that he wont get the record :(. You can see every player tries to help him, if he is free they pass to him.

dont worry. he definitely will... he ll score against spuds and then in the final against benfica.
