I think sometimes with the work rate he gets through and the quality of player he is, he gets taken for granted. When he doesn't do it for one or two games people jump on the bandwagon. When he does it consistently well for 20-30 games, people don't appreciate him for what he's doing. It's just 'Frank has scored again' and that's it. People are quick to criticise but on a weekly basis he is the most consistent player I have seen in my career at Chelsea.I have seen nothing to make me think any differently and am sure he will have another good season next year, hopefully with no injuries. Lampard can't go through the final years of his career as a crap (crap as in compared to his usual high level) player for both Chelsea and England. Been an amazing servant for us and unfortunately it's coming to an end but he'll always be remembered as the best goalscoring midfielder for us ever and an absolute legend. That injury he got last year really fucked him up because i reckon he probably had a bit left in the tank but i feel he's very nearly done now. Hopefully he'll continue to play for us like Scholes did for Man Utd, just a bit part roll and some experience off the bench. Will always be a Chelsea legend tho. A great ambassador of the club and hopefully he'll be playing on even if it's part-time roles off the bench! A remarkable player who's certainly left his mark in the illustrious Chelsea history.
