Frank Lampard admits he remains hopeful that he will still be at Chelsea next season. Lampard is out of contract this summer and has yet to be offered a new deal at Stamford Bridge

"I've always said that I wanted to spend all my career here and I think everyone knows that," Lampard told Sky Sports.

Please stay for another year..

Although Lamps isn't exactly at the pick of his career, he still has something to offer to our game. Even as a squad player.

Would it hurt the club so much to keep him for one more year? It can't do harm, and I'm sure it'll do good!

What a legend. A true professional, so humble and honest. Nearly cried himself in the postmatch interview, talking about his mum. He surely has been through a lot. I knew he would bail us out today as soon as that first went in. Nothing but respect for the man.
