I think Spuds would be insane to turn down £100m + Sterling or Laporte if that’s what they’ve offered. That’s the best they could possibly get I think.

Trouble is convincing someone like Sterling to step down big time to go to Tottenham.

I doubt any swaps will happen. Pjanic-Arthur is one of the few that have actually happened in the last few years.

Can Spurs even afford their wages?

Good question. Players like Kane and now Son soon with his new contract are probably on big wages, though. So maybe?

Can’t imagine Sterling being willing to step down to Spuds. But someone like Gabriel Jesus would benefit from it massively. Being the main man up top at Spuds playing every week instead of odd appearances here and there at City.

Spurs are in a similar position to what we were 2 years ago with Hazard, the potential of selling the team's talisman.

You almost feel they need a full reboot. The squad that they have has grown stale together.

Sterling, I am sure will not be on consideration for a swap deal. No way at all. Jesus more likely. Kane coming in that price as CF, will have to play majority of games. Sterling primary position is a winger and can play on either side. Jesus is too inconsistent. Sterling by his standards was below par last season but previous 2 seasons has been excellent and would not be surprised to see him get form back next season.

Levy is a cunt, he will do everything possible to spite HK and won't for one second give HK any gratitude for serving the club for years and fucking carrying the useless bastards season after season. Yet, he will probably block the move no matter what City offer and use the term "I did it for the good of the club"

If I am HK the transfer request goes in now and I tell the club I want away ASAP.
