I don't know, i would rather Meireles play higher up the pitch. He's not that good at tackling, and he seems to let people run past him too easy. I think Mikel is the safe option.

Agreed. Arsenal doesn't have strong players. Meireles' strength would have been enough. Plus, the latter man is way more pacy than Mikel, and, imo, it is a quality more important to stop Arsenal's attacks.
