Its sad to say this, but mourinho knew this. He knew moyes was making another panic buy. There is no way mata is useful on the wing after so much failed experiments with us, with no speed and its impossible to put any of rooney or RVP on the bench without quarrel.

Mata did want to leave?? Hardly anyone big moves in January so he did have a say in it. chelsea wasn't the Mata show anymore and Utd were desperate to sign ANYONE so they did and paid way over the top for a player who was not playing.
