Share Posted February 11, 2013 In the post-Wigan interview, Lampard said the same thing I did about his goal: we don't understand how the hell Mata even knew he was there. I've watched the replay numerous times and not once does he turn his head in Frank's direction and Frank made a very late run. Lampard said that he (Lampard) shouldn't have been surprised though because Mata is a f***ing wizard (OK not literally, but that was the essence). He made a simple touch to find Ashley Cole who scored the winner.
