diskoviolente 425
Nah mate, this sort of came out of the blue, i mean that there hasnt been publicity about ages long negogiations.THIS IS SO NOT TRUEBenayoun DID NOT demand this number, he always loved the number 15 on his shirt, but 15 was Malouda's already,so our club probably decided to offer him the number 10, because Joe leaved and 10 was available. So he said yes.Listen to me, im from Israel, Yossi isnt my fav player, but i know what kind of a person he is, egomaniac?!Thats the last thing you can say about him. The last. Stop with this bashing when you dont know him.Your making it into a such a big deal. So he agreed to take the number 10, WOW, what an asshole... its normalthat when Joe leaved, Yossi, Joe's replacment, got it.spot on ! manpe 10,861
@GuillemBalagueMata is a clever player between the lines but not the quickest winger. His intelligence and vision makes him the ideal Torres helper@GuillemBalague28m euros for Mata... yesterday I met Villas Boas, expected all sorted by Sunday and since then player and coach have spoken

Tortilla9 390
Its just a Mata of time before we see Juan (father/agent) of the Matas at Cobham to finalize the deal. Supposedly father/agent will be at SB to watch the match.

The good news is if either of those teams want a player, he must be awesome. Won't have to worry about Torres--can't play tiki taka and he won't go to RM. He jokingly asked if they were looking for a #9. If he ever returns home it may be for a final hurrah at Atleti where by all accounts he is still worshipped. The view seems to be that every Spanish player wants to go to Barca or Madrid. If they can't go there they'll go somewhere else begrudgingly (or that's the impression from the Spanish media which can be tilted quite heavily toward either Barca or Madrid). The Spanish media has a hard time believing any player of quality would want to leave Spain so they must not be quite that special. Silva when he left Valencia and arrived at City was desperately homeseek for several months. He missed the warm weather, the food, the language, everything. Now's he's a dynamo for that team. As with anybody new to a country it takes time to adjust.Anybody else Chelsea should take a look at at Valencia? Villa, Silva, now Mata. BosnianLion 232
IMO Mata is better than Silva
