NikkiCFC 8,319
Smart. If I'm professional football player this is what I would do in veteran years. Playing in new places I would like to experience living. Brazil, USA, Australia, Thailand, Japan. One season everywhere. Edited September 5, 2024 by NikkiCFC Vesper and robsblubot

If they do, constant upheaval isn't ideal, or just being away from loved ones for an extended period. NikkiCFC

He doesnt have her anywhere near any of his social media. As someone who grew up in a pretty gay city before it became legalized and folks were comfortable being out you'd see a lot of guys(And gals) who would have a partner like that. Not really around, but could be brought out when the opportunity was needed. Very cool bachelor, which Mata oozes. One of the coolest guys I've ever seen, and my favorite Spanish player by far. Debonair, stylish, and smooth.
Thor 2,702
I might be one of the few who doesn’t rate Mata as highly as everyone else on here seems to.  Fun to watch, but the time he shone was when we were in our worst patch. I think he was a big fish in small pond type.

He may not be a very important and outstanding player looking back at his whole carreer, but for ~1.5 years he played at his absolute best for us, way better than he ever played for Valencia before or United after. We had him in his prime and we found a system which he enjoyed very much alongside Oscar and Hazard. Fulham Broadway and Vesper 1

Last season costed us 2 trophies and top4 with big chances missed. This season already 3 points. Had great opportunity against City on 0:1 in second half and against Palace on 1:1. This 3 points could be essential in CL fight just like last season we were short 3 points. But this is only after 3 rounds. I'm sure just like last season he will cost us double digits points. Vesper

In general our play was down during the period he had his best time here.  Like I said. Fun to watch but I don’t think he was the impact player some others were. There is a reason his time was short here when we needed consistency and impact over the course of winning a season again.

Jackson is far younger, far more physically capable and only a season and a bit into his pro career. You blame Jackson for Palace at 1-1 when he was the one creating those chances for himself, and missed a tough shot on the side that was created from nothing. Not sure what your Jackson hate is about, but 2 goals in 3 games for our young striker.
