Kostas 1,468
It will only satisfy the desire of some fans for a new player. That is the most important thing for the majority. At this point I'm already sick of Lukaku, let him stay at Anderlecht for a season and then join City's armanda. bababoom 4,478
We don't actually need him right now, but if we do buy him, id expect us to loan him out to get more experience.

Domino- 116
Transfer it now seems difficult, he wants to play regularly, but now it is almost impossible with the presence of Drogba, Torres, Anelka
danwkb 11
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14221107.stmThe deal for the Serbian will be completed on Thursday, subject to the player passing a medical, the Belgian club announced on their website.Anderlecht have confirmed they have agreed a deal to sign Liverpool forward Milan Jovanovic.Jovanovic moved to Anfield from Standard Liege last summer on a free transfer, signing a three-year deal. But he failed to command a place in the Liverpool side, making just 10 league appearances and not scoring.Jovanovic joined Standard Liege in 2006 and helped them win back-to-back Belgian titles in 2007/08 and 2008/09.The 30-year-old, who has also played for Shakhtar Donetsk and Lokomotiv Moscow, made his international debut for Serbia in a 2-0 win over Finland in June 2007 and has won 35 caps.Liverpool, who have spent close to £50m on Jordan Henderson, Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam during the summer, are looking to offload a number of fringe players in their squad. Kostas 1,468
I've read that Liverpool are going to pay part of Jovanovic's wages at Anderlecht, if that deal was ever going to affect Lukaku's future it now seems unlikely.
magic weeds 446
Belgofoot - Not certain that Lulaku will join #cfc today but this is most important meeting so far: Anderlect, Chelsea officials and agent in one room. Its today or never. Hamilton 2,120
According to HLN, a belgian newspaper, a deal is very close now. Today the teams will talk further. Lukaku would sign a contract of 5 years. It's the intention that he is to stay at Cfc the first 6 months at least to look how well he will adapt to the new situation. After that he could be loaned out. It's also understand that the manager of Anderlecht will try to keep him another 6 months on loan at Anderlecht.http://www.hln.be/hln/nl/1285/Jupiler-Pro-League/article/detail/1301120/2011/08/05/Lukaku-rond-met-Chelsea.dhtml

magic weeds 446
Apparently, he is to sign a 5year deal, stay at Chelsea for the first 6 months to get used to the club, then be loaned out for the rest of the season.Sounds logical, but.... Hamilton 2,120
The newspaper suggested that it would be hard with somany strikers, Lukaku commented on this:"Sturridge, Kalou and Anelka will be used on the wings. So you got two centrum forwards, Drogba and Torres. But most of the time only one of them plays. But even with a club that has three strikers for one position you get a chance to play some games, cause these teams play 70 games in a season. But anything can happen, theire still can be some players sold and then the team needs me. I just wait and see."
King11Didier 916
We don't need Lukaku...We can sign him after 1 or 2 years when Drogba will not be able to play good. Now why?We have Stu,Torres and Drogba, clear forwards. One more why?If we play with two clear attackers ok.But if we play with only one,we don't need this type of striker. We need winger like Sanches.
