Spike 12,049
He meant a Chelsea player joining them. Also Pizzarro had his contract ripped apart, will go to Bayern by the end of the season.I see. Surely not De Bruyne?

Igi26 346
Also I think he won't have problems adapting here since Ivanović is Serbian and Marin comes from Bosnia. capriccioso

BosnianLion 232
Guys, I can't tell you how happy I am about this transfer.Marko's family is originally from Bosnia (Bosanska Gradiska). Makes me very proud even though he represents Germany. pHaRaOn and YuriZhirkov

termninja 5,290
I knew you Bosnians were going to be happy. He ain't no Dzeko, but somethin's better then nothin' This is a great transfer. Small money payed considering his qualities and age. If he doesn't succeed we can always sell him and don't have any big losses.Compare this to the transfer of Zhirkov for example and you'll see that the club has done a great job.I'm happy to see us bringing young but not so young players with lots of potential. Wish him all the best! BosnianLion
capriccioso 2,545
Marko Marin. My dreams have come true. Apart from Jose returning, me playing for Chelsea in the CL final and 5 year extenisons for Didier Drogba and Salomon. Also a quick end to my current drunkeness. One can't post and be drunk. I am very disappointed in myself. But those I am drinking with people who chose to play call of duty which i found bopring so i had no other choice but to go on talkchelsea. Sorry guys, hope you forgive me when i'm sober

DYC. 7,542
I don't think 'lacks end product' is really a weakness for a player who has had 10+ assists in 4 of the last 5 seasons. This season has been the only exception - he's not played many games due to injuries. My bad. I just checked his stats and you're right (though it's 3 of the last 4 seasons). It was just in the matches I saw of him in the past years he looked threatning but didn't score or assisted much. His statistics aren't bad at all, good news. Arjen Robben 55
Good signing, really cheap and really talented - he is injury prone though. Bremen's president expressed that he is not interested in Lukaku so I doubt he'll be leaving.

capriccioso 2,545
You lucky, lucky Bosnians. I don't think I'll ever see a half Sri Lankan- half Indian born in Australia play for Chelsea KamikazeBlue

He ain't no Dzeko, but somethin's better then nothin' I'd rather have Pjanic here As for Marin, I don't know what how to feel about this transfer. He's never been a consistent performer but he's a true WINGER!
capriccioso 2,545
Now, the only time I have watched young Marko do his magic was in a CL tie vs. Fiorentina 2 years ago, and fucking hell, was he brilliant. Hit the post a couple of times and got 2 assists, if my alchol-addled memory serves me.
BlueLyon 9,359
Who are we kiddin', He is German! Sure he will try to prove himself and make Spurs envy for us, who got such great prospect. I will laugh if Marin turns to be better than Hazard in the end of next season.

FormerRussianSpy 163
Excited to see him play in the Euros (if he is included in the squad)...big games, big pressure etc. Seems to me, as many have already said, that he is certainly in the same vein of players as Mata. Would love to see Mata and Marin as attacking midfielders with Sturridge in the center up front!
