Jase 43,479
To think we let go Kalou, froze out Malouda for this guy Those 2 are frustrating players yes, but they would offer something in the squad and from the bench, especially the Ivorian and they would be fit and healthy most weeks.A dozen lucky tap ins off the bench doesn't sound too bad a proposition right now, does it?Hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn't it? Jype 6,398
I was there when Marko Marin scored a goal, maybe I should get that printed on a t-shirt.
Jase 43,479
Is Marin really injured right now? Have seen him in training with other players in pictures and videos but yet he's hardly ever made it to the matchday squads!I know he hasn't done too well so far here but for goodness sake, if he's available, Benitez should at least have him on the bench as opposed to flooding it with 3-4 defenders! Marin could come on in games, if needed, and potentially turn a game in our favor. Blue Armour

I've noticed often he would be on the bench for one match, then two days later, without even playing, we'd read that he's unavailable due to injury. Or maybe Benitez just wants his favorite boy Benayoun to be there. He must be like Messi in training...
Bir_CFC 3,455
Who gives a shit if it's Marin or yossi. Neither are going to be able to do jack shit. I actually rate Yossi higher than marin, at least he has some PL experience and is not a dude my 10 year old cousin could beat up. Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
I actually remember reading somewhere that terry apperently said that benayoun is the best player he has ever seen in training I'd believe that too. Yossi is a pure testament to where hard work will get you. His abilities are greatly limited, and physically he rarely bring anything special to the table.I feel he gives his all though. While clearly not being good enough for us, I think he would be a great player for a lower championship or league one side.

DJames 729
Think that was Hazard who watches Naruto..It was on Marin's instagram (or twitter) Hazard watching it and Marin approving. Pretty fair to say Marin watches it as wellI want to give Marin a bit more of a chance for some reason. He really has not been given a fair amount of time to prove to us how good (or shit) he really is. He is a bit of a dud with all his injuries and inability to put in a proper shift for us. He use to have a good combination play with Ozil in Bremen hopefully he can get back to that quick with us. I'm willing to give him another half season if he does not improve by then he should be sold. Madmax

He gets paid a good salary, lives in a great city and plays for a team with a squad so small that no matter how bad he is he will get games. Oh and he will get some medals every now and again. He's living the life.
