OneMoSalah 8,886
Seems that Marin has become the forgotten man at the club already...http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1283306/marin-keen-fight-chelsea-place?cc=4716Really do feel sorry for him. Has recovered from his injury but yet to be given much chance to play. Hopefully, he'll get more of those in 2013.I did say to you on twitter he'd make 10 appearances max this season haha! Kieran. 6,317
He'll get his chance when Moses goes to ACoN.
Jase 43,479
he will need to make the most of any opportunities he getsThat would just put unnecessary pressure on him. If other players are getting consistent chances to start games, then why can't Marin get the same? The amount of game time he'll get should not be dependent on what he does in just 1-2 opportunities. Rubber bullets 1,183
Looks like he will end up like Zhirkov, an injury before the season starts and all of a sudden managers hesitate using them due to being accustomed to other players (e.g Moses) zolayes

The only place to be 11,313
He was signed because we thought we might not make the CL. Unfortunately we did and we spent £32 million on a fairly similar player, then Moses took his chance with both hands and it's been hard to drop him unless for tactical reasons.I would love to see him given a chance and he'll get it, but he's going to have to play his socks off when he does but I think he's just very unlucky and will probably leave sooner rather than later. Hutcho 8,443
Lol the mail talks a load of bullshit... They called him the Germany flop. He has only had about 100 minutes of game time in the prem if that. Daily mail seem to think he could be on the way to weeder bremen, not that they know their ass from their elbow. Waterfall 893
So far he's been a flop and it would surprise no one if he went back to Germany on loan
Muzchap 8,966
So far he's been a flop and it would surprise no one if he went back to Germany on loanGo watch the pre-season games he was literally our best player...The injury has really fucked him up, but he is still a good player and will shine if he gets a run of 4-5 games...Don't write him off just yet... Mufassir08 2,400
Awful in the first half better in the 2nd.
BenIsLegend 475
Looked really up for it in the first few minutes, sadly his bad tackle scared him and he just seemed to switch off from then on wards apart from the beginning of the second half where he did well :/
Henrique 9,133
It was pretty funny people putting Marin in their starting XI in pre-season.

Henrique 9,133
I'd say it's more funny in retrospective than it was at the time.Indeed, but only fools were putting him as a starting XI, well for a new player to arrive at Chelsea and become a starting, the guy must be really good, or have some kind of cv or at least hype. None apply for Marin. At the time it was more weird than funny.People in this forum do like to lick new players balls, and as soon as a 35 old player scores some goals, they start the sentimental bullshit. I mean, its quite easy to write these crap about not being fair to let a legend leave after the guy scored 2 goals in a decisive match, but what about supporting him during a tough time? Remember last season? Lampard was the bad big eggo guy that was sabotaging AVB's job. Spike

It was ridiculous, I've never seen such instant polarisation.
