Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

Manchester United were in a similar position squad wise to us in 2001/2002 and were 9th at this stage.

We can't blame AVB he is trying to do a rebuilding job that really should have been started the second we touched down from Moscow.

FFS! Manchester United have Ferguson, arguably one of the best managers in the world. Even if they are in League 1 you can bet that he would likely bring them back to the very top.

We are putting our faith into a NOBODY who is not known for his team building skills. There is no guarantee that he will make us world beaters, none.

He got tactically demolished by the world beater genius McLeish at HOME and the outstanding, superb Villa squad, who are 500000000x times better according to many posters on here

AvB is NOT doing good. this is a fact not a subject for a public debate. He holds responsibilty but he should not and MUST NOT take all the blames. I honestly think tht this form does not warrant a sack.

3 points from four games is relegation form

BluesChronicle Dan Levene

Journo: "Was that a bit of a horror show?" AVB: "Depends on your perspective."

I'm backing AVB until the end of the season at least but he needs to change his comments during press conferences now. It's clear the optimistic approach "it wasn't as bad as you thought blah blah" isn't working with these 100k a week players. They need a kick up their backsides. He needs to start being a bit more aggressive with them

that is why I am saying he is not doing good. may be he is not the person who can lead a top title challenging european club. But on the other hand he did some good things too. within 5 months or so he set sturridge, romeu and mata in our team succesfully. That is commendable and that is what needed for CFC

Thats what makes me sad. Jesus...

I was waiting for you to comment you clearly think you are the almighty one

everytime i see you post you are not backing the team or the manager

you show no faith you should be disgraced to call yourself a fan

If you consider the fact this is his second year as a manger and he has come into one of the toughest leagues has managed to keep an average squad in the top 6. which anyone should be happy with

Mata and Sturridge were already setting the world alight prior to his arrival. He has nothing to do with them, they were already class.

And what about Ferguson when he was a freshface - if you look back you'll see he was on the edge of receiving the sack in a time when it wasn't as ruthless as today. Nobody's commending AVB at the moment but are saying a sack would be unscrupulous and negative for the long-term. Who would you bring in and how long would it last before we decide to pull the axe again. As difficult as it may be for some to take, especially at a time when you can't see much good you need to look at the future and let AVB build a squad. A aging squad, lacking creativity, making stupid individual mistakes, and inconsistent forwards doesn't help AVB at all. But give him time to build he's the boss, and will rectify them.

not every world class player can get settled instantly. it largely depends on managers . you want examples :P ?

Again, with the comparison with Sir Alex

He's the exception rather than the norm

There must be thousands of managers with potential who were sacked

He is just that one in the thousand who made it.

Judging by this logic maybe nobody should ever receive the sack, because they just might turn out like Sir Alex

Football is a result business, this guy isnt good enough for Chelsea.

all hail king henrique he clearly is a superior being and should be appointed manager for chelsea his opinions are more valid than everyone else

you act as if you could be doing a better job calling for him to be sacked and being judgemental of his performance in half a season

maybe like the team he just needs the fans backing in situations like this. why would chelsea sack him when the one thing the club needs at the moment is STABILITY
