I don't know why but I see Lampard as being a key man in this whole thing. You guys remember his body language after he was subbed a couple of times this season? At first we just shrugged it off as him being unhappy with his own performances, but after seeing how he acted against Everton, it's possible that things have escalated and it just strikes me that he's the most unhappy in our squad atm.

And I'm just making a general comment, I'm not "turning on" Lamps. Maybe the Everton game was a one-off. I'm very interested to see how he performs now.

Lampard was named,wasn't he?

Oh yeah, you're right. But it's just one line: "Villas-Boas has also clashed with Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba" not very conclusive

Chelsea players confront André Villas-Boas in training-ground row

http://www.guardian....+%28Football%29

Perhaps the most important thing in the artcle is the winding up of the court case with Berezovsky.

When Mrs Justice Gloster reaches her judgement in the next week or two as to whether Abramovich has to pay £3.2bn, this will have implications on all aspects of transfers, and whether to terminate the contract of manager No 6

On the flip side of the coin, the clash could have been over that the players have been doing exactly as the Manager has been telling them - And we've all seen the results of that.

The beauty of having the experience that AVB has at his disposal is that it's there to be drawn upon and used - To disregard this experience would be foolhardy, especially when choice of player options is limited. No one knows why or what happened other than those there, but put yourself in the players position and suppose the Manager was leading off in front of his Boss, would you sit there meekly and not respond, in you own work scenario what would you do? I'd make sure my point of view was heard, especially if it's your position and livelihood that's being challenged and once one person starts/breaks the ice others tend to join in.

Is AVB trying to hard to do things 'his' way and ignoring help, a symptom of his own relative inexperience and insecurity?

When I read the comments here, I get the feeling that they have been heavily editted to portray the fact that Chelsea fans are behind this squating kid called AVB. We cannot win the champions league next season hence we will not be able to attract decent players. The fact that AVB is incompetent is so glaring that even kids can see it. He is always talking about project and philosophy and future but its all a code word for rubbish. Chelsea needs a manager like Louis Van Gaal who can build with very little money.

This guy was a mistake and everyone can see it

yes. just saw it linked on the Guardian. It doesn´t take much for a newspaper to make a storm in a teacup. If a few players voiced their frustration, fair enough. Can imagine them flying off the handle when told that they played shit and that Malouda has been dropped after being told "not that good, mate"

Hi

I refferred more to the players power which is definitly there at this club and which AVB HAS to break... thats what I think :) its from 2011 in june

Like it was mentioned, it's possible that all of this has been going on since the start of the season but has simply escalated now. And imo Drogba is definitely involved in some way given his attitude

When newspapers were suggesting, at the start of the season (around september/October), that there was a problem between André and some players, people didn't want to believe it and were discrediting those newspapers. I even did put forward the possibility of some players not really listening to André's orders on the field (I have suggested that following a journo's comment on this matter), but I was told it was only media's bullshit to destabilise us. It looks now it wasn't untrue.

It's sometimes hard to tell if an article is true or not, no facts, sources or anything, I guess given the situation it wouldn't surprise me if this is true.

I'm sorry, but those two aren't even back from Africa yet..

As I said it wasn't only about this meeting but the whole problems in our squad. And Drogba and Kalou don't have any reason to back AVB. And we all know what Drogbas behaviour is like when he isn't first choice.

If Malouda and Lampard don't like Andre's instructions they could have done different on pitch.

Hasn't Andre said that he likes his players to make their own decisions?

But they have been playing the same for two seasons now.

A big time club like Chelsea needs a big time manager.. As much as i would love to give AVB 3-4 years to build something at the club, it's not going to happen.

No wins= No money from the fans

No money= No longer attracting top players

No Players= No Wins

Its a vicious cycle that the further we drop the harder it is to come back. Look at Liverpool...

They have a point to question some of his tactics, leaves all of us baffled at points.

Bet the confronted him bout Bosingwa, "We can't work with this retard"

They don't have the right to question his tactics. He chooses how the team should play and they work accourding to his plans. Hence why he is the manager and they the players.

If you where to tell me next season we would of only of bought 1 player for the first team, i would of expected the same uncreative football as usual because our players can't produce that. But i would never of thought our players would of been playing so bad, even worse than last season no motivation at all, at least last season we could score 3 goals against a lot of teams, i would never of thought our tactics would of been so wrong and everything looks like we could be finishing 6th or 7th at least, would never of thought that ever, i still thought we would be 3rd at least.
