You've virtually contradicted yourself. This isn't AVB's squad, let him build one then make that point. AVB is doing what he think is best with the squad we have, it's not our shape, formation or any of that but a tired squad yearning some fresh and creative additions.

Honestly, I know our squad is not good enough to challenge for the trophy, but AVB is doing a terrible job. For me its pretty clear that with a better squad he wont do a good job.

Your missing the point completely, how can 3 additions too a squad suddenly transcend into a squad built by AVB. Give him January ffs, just a window too make this squad his own and then you can complain. Sacking AVB NOW WILL MAKE this difficult period redundant, and we'll be back to square 1 in our ruthless sacking of managers. None of us are happy at these results but we can't afford to sack a manager on emotion. Use your brains and look at the bigger picture.

No because because I dont feel surprised anymore,after the Arsenal loss maybe but this loss werent a shock and was coming for a while really.Dissapointed in the performance and the fact the players looked like they couldnt give a crap but that just seemed to be the way they're playing at the moment like teams that arent in the top arent worth turning up for

When Ramires went to Chelsea, he said there is no pressure, the fans never ask for anything. Very different from what happen in Brazil or in Portugal. It pisses me off when I read people saying this thread is useless after all the evidences showing AVB is not the right man.

If you dont want the axe on his head, at least recognize he is not this great manager everybody thought he was, recognize he is not doing a good job, and recognize he must improve to honor the money he is receiving.

Manchester United were in a similar position squad wise to us in 2001/2002 and were 9th at this stage.

We can't blame AVB he is trying to do a rebuilding job that really should have been started the second we touched down from Moscow.

It's simple we as fans need to have patience. chelsea is not the team we once were. we have to stick by AVB his plans are solid. We just have to get rid of the "deadwood" some players that have pasted their time but have serviced the club well.

Why does everyone point the finger straight to the manage he is doing a fantastic job considering he is working with a team that is full of worn out players in their 30's .

The players themselves besides a select few show no pride in wearing a chelsea jersey and no gratitude for the position they are in.

I think the best thing for chelsea this year is to not finish in the top 4. Then maybe the squad would show hunger and desire to win games instead of playing like a bunch of zombies.

EXACTLY, I think some people are blind to the bigger picture and actually expected AVB to pull of a treble immediately. Alex Ferguson was so close to receiving a pink slip but didn't. 20 years later look where the prick has brought them. Temporary Salvation in bringing Hiddink back is absurd, we MUST give AVB the time to bring in some new faces.
