A brilliant, proven striker (albeit not in England) - but £45m for a 29-year-old? Why would he even leave Barca?

It's just some fake story, if there's one player from Spain that we will sign, then that's Aguero.

Well he only scored like 2 goals in his last 18 games or so last season and Barca need to make money to buy cesc-pit off Arsenal. Also as Torres' international strike partner it makes a lot more sense that it may seem. It's not gonna happen no doubt but it's reasonable imo. I reckon they'd take £28m

We need to be realistic here brethren... David Villa at 28 years of age is NOT the answer!!

again, we need some one who can feed Villa with some really neat passes and that brings us to our problem at hand : a need for a winger/midfielder/playmaker !

It doesn't necessarily have to be Villa though! It could be the likes of Aguero, Torres or Drogba being fed a crucial pass. And with a strike force that sounds like that, then Villa at 28 isn't needed! But I do agree on bringing in a creative midfield player. I'd like to see Modric or Pastore fill those boots!

Según 'Metro', los dos clubes ingleses estarían dispuestos a ofrecer hasta 45 millones de euros por Villa

This means, that according to Metro the english club city and Chelsea would be willing to offer that amount for the striker.

It does not says Chelsea want him nor City, just that Metro makes up the story that a club like our would like to buy him for that price.

So there is something wrong with the post, when you put "Chelsea bid" because it does not say Chelsea has bid.

Please stop being misleading!!!
