Henrique 9,133
The window closes in august, Liverpool wasted their money on two unproven players, only to say they are helping english football...More than 2 months to buy players who really matter. It's a very tough competition, full of strong teams and scousers need to reinforce if they want to archive something in it

Peace. 4,352
I think we are getting a bit impatient. We are currently strongly linked with Lukaku and De Bryune, and we seem much likely to get them. They are certainly not starter material, however it does underline the fact we are active in the mercato. Plus, the transfer window has yet to open in all countries. termninja 5,290
But we don't need Lukaku that much right now!We need creative midfield, and wingers!Sadly this is the truth. Lukaku coming here would only move Sturridge away from a striker position, and from what he has demonstrated at Bolton he deserves a run in the 1st team. It would be best for both Lukaku and us if he stayed at Anderlecht. We could play Sturridge as a striker, and Lukaku would be a 1st team regular that would play in CL. Ballancee 5
Chelsea would have to make purchases and now make them Manchester United. They took David De Gea , Ashley Young and Phil Jones

Wayne Bridge, perhaps? Maybe Steve Sidwell? I remember something about Villa paying a fee for him...nothing substantial sticks out in my mind for sure.
