  1. Not sure if thats a good or a bad thing. It might take your mind off it but on the other hand you might be shitting yourself the whole time! lol! I'm watching it with a manc mate of mine down my local! gonna be torture!
  2. People will never move on from Jose until we win the league again. No matter how many managers we get through!
  3. If you want to see the highlights, you want to get the season reviews. The DVD's go back to 04-05, each season has highlights of every game of that season. And welcome
  4. I know, i didn't even bother to look at getting tickets because i only have 41 points. But today my mate rang me who has only been to 2 or 3 games this year said he had tickets because it had only gone down to five. I couldn't beleive it. I went straight on the Chelsea website and got myself one. Not sure if this happened last year though.
  5. Loving the first one. Third is also really good.
  6. I just got a ticket over the internet. 30 quid which is cheap but it didnt have any block or seat number on the conformation page or e-mail. Is that bad or do you just not find out till you get your ticket?
  7. Well said my friend. Maybe the best post i have read on these forums!
  8. Great result! Not a brilliant first half. We had most of the ball but didn;t really do much with it. Much improved second half though. Moved the ball quicker and always kept going forward to get that extra goal. Something we haven't been doing recently. Very please for Van Aanholt as well. Move on to Villa with a bit of confidence now after a very good performance.
  9. Our last 4 games against Arsenal we have beaten them. 2-1, 4-1, 3-0, 2-0. That's 11 goals scored and 2 goals conceded. They may play the better football but they don't use it properly do they.
  10. Stop being so negative man!! Just because we are in a rotten bit of form it doesn't mean we are going to be in this form for the rest of the season. A convincing win tonight and another win against Villa will build some confidence and we can go on a winning run. Its not all doom and gloom yet. You sound as if were about to get relegated!! We still have a fantastic chance to win the league!
  11. But he got himself sent off so how is that Terry's fault. Unless he thinks that the recent John Terry "saga" has affected the squad so much that he will never be able to win it with this squad, therefore he will always be remembered within Chelsea but never outside Chelsea when he retires.
  12. I'm a little confused. Whats the point your trying to put across here? That Drogba will never be remembered because he has never won anything?
  13. Its not ALL over becuase we beat Pompey and we are only a point behind. But... having said that if we continue to perform the way we do we will not win at Old Trafford, White Hart Lane or Anfield. Today's performance in the second half was abysmal so a dramatic improvement is needed to stand a chance of winning the league. This is where the players and manager earn their money!
  14. Brilliant news! Just hope he come's back and performs as good as he was when he got injured.
  15. Play Ross tomorrow. That give's Petr a few more days training. Then he can have the Portsmouth and Villa game to get him in the grove before we play United. happy days! lol!
  16. We don't need to have Bruma as a 3rd Centre Back. We have Ivanovic who can play there and Bosingwa who can come in at Right Back
  17. Feel sorry for him. He deserved one last shot at the World Cup but at lets face it. He wouldn't really do much there if he went. At least now we can take someone who is actually going to make an impact.
  18. I think we need a regeneration period. We need to re-build our squad. We have a lot of dead wood and they need to go. I think we need to get rid of our ageing players who contribute little. Ballack, Paulo, Deco, Belletti, Hilario and Carvalho. Also i think Joe Cole (Sorry Joe) and Kalouless are blocking the way for our young players to get game time. I think Anelka should leave but only if Carlo insists on playing him out wide. Some people have been saying bring in five or six players and also promote 6 or 7 youth players. You do that you will have a squad of 30 plus players which is not going to work. Kakuta, Matic, Bruma, Stoch Cork, Hutchinson and Mancienne should be promoted. Then we don't need to brin in too many players. I would like to see 3 players come in. Milner, Sneijder and Aguero. Young (I don't think Sneijder is that young though) establihed players who will add quality to our squad. My squad would be... Goalkeepers: Cech, Turnbull, Taylor Defenders: Bosingwa Ivanovic, Hutchinson, Bruma, Terry, Alex, A.Cole, Zhirkov Midfielders: Matic, Cork, Lampard, Mikel, Essien, Mancienne, Milner Wingers/Attacking midfielders: Kakuta, Stoch, Malouda, Sneijder Strikers: Drogba, Anelka, Sturridge, Aguero The average age of the squad will be decreased, the wage bill will have been decreased and we will have the young mixed with the experience.
  19. Sounds like i genuine accident to me. Fucking media trying to make it bigger than it actually is and trying to bring down JT and Chelsea. When are they just going to tell the fucking truth?
  20. Lol, Worst XI... Harder than you think. Neil Sullivan (Past it by the time he joined us) Glen Johnson (Can't think of any bad RB so went with Glen because he had so much potential but didn't really show it) Winston Bogarde (Do i need to give an explantation) Tal Ben-Haim (Not good enough for Chelsea) Del Horno (Just didn't really do it for me) Slavisa Jokanovic (Never really looked like he was up for it, very lazy on and off the ball) Maniche (Pointless signing, played about 7 games and didn't do anything that i can remember of) Juan Veron (Big Ego. Big Money. Waste of space) Miniero (Why did we even buy him?? 2 games) Kezman (Although he did try hard, he only scored 7 goals if i can remember right) Pizarro (2 goals in one season for a striker is pathetic)
  21. Remember the season finishes early this year due to the World Cup so it might be mid April.
  22. This Mourinho doesn't lose at Stamford Bridge is mind games like warnie_666 said. It wasn't Mourinho that never lost at The Bridge (he actually did once against Barcelona) itwas Chelsea. That run stretched back to the Ranieri days (ok it was only for about 5 games but still) and went right through Avram Grant and on to Scolari. So it was Chelsea that never lose at Stamford Bridge not Mourinho. Typical mind games from the special one. The players know this anyway and won't be fazed by his comments.
