If you have been reading my earlier post in this thread, I was saying exactly that- choose the striker that fits the play and give him some consistent time. The choice come to either Torres or Eto'o. Throwing Ba in that mix is only going to complicate that. He should be the sub coming on every game at 70-80 when Jose had enough with the other 2 clowns.

I think the finishing part kicks in when you have confidence in you and the good run of games will do just that.

1) Juan Mata 2) Mazacar, Torres, Luiz, pretty much everyone in our current first team except Mikel eventhough he does have his specific uses.

I was thinking more of his potential than his actual goal scoring record.

Not good enough for Chelsea as far as I know.

He did play consistently well playing as an auxiliary striker at Leverkusen.

Shit has hit the fan in the striker situation. Quite depressing. Either we give Eto'o or Torres a consistent run in the side, for, say 3-5 games or try Schurrle there. Like Carra said, we do tend to play like a 10 man side. Strikers seem to have their shooting boots missing every single time.

I'm sure you can think of strikers with better conversion rate in our side, then. Definitely a better winger than striker but going by the form of our strikers, he is the way to go.

I can't see a reason why Schurrle can't play as the ST in this match. ...............Cech................ Ivan........Luiz.......JT....Azpi ...........Mikel......Lamps...... ...Willian........Oscar........Hazard... ...............Schurrle........... City ripped them in the counter last game and the more direct players we have, the better.

Valid point eventhough getting more direct will dampen his game. We have the likes of Schurrle and Willian to play that sort of game.

Wondering what Luiz can do wrong when we have that much cover ahead of him. Cahill or Luiz- doesn't make much of a difference in that sort of set-up. On the contrary, Luiz could provide better long balls. and could complement the counter-attacks.
