World class English centre backs are so rare that 34m for Stones is nothing in today's market. Jose talked about keeping the English core and normally he must replace one of the greatest defenders this country has had with another Englishman. Stones is a terrific prospect and the best suited to replace the living legend that Terry is.

This is as true as it can get.
