  1. I was reading some reports saying Barcelona are preparing a £12 million bid for Courtois... you know, this has to be an insult to both Chelsea Football Club and Thibaut Courtois and I'd love to see Mourinho playing his cards in the mercato just like he did with Arsenal this summer when they wanted Demba Ba. Tell them Courtois is for sale, negociate all summer long and call the deal off in the last hour of the mercato so they can be stuck with whoever their fucking 2nd coiche gk is.
  2. This is Sport's frontpage from today. They say Courtois knows about Barcelona's interest in him and he would like to go there. They refer to "presionara al Chelsea para venir" as "Courtois wants Chelsea to let him go to Barcelona". Also Barcelona has agreed terms with Gladbach for Ter Stegen, but Courtois is their main target. Fucking Sport haha.
  3. I've had the chance to watch Atletico Madrid's last games and, my God, what a great team Cholo Simeone has built there. One of Diego Costa, Diego Godin, Koke or Filipe MUST be on Mourinho's wishlist! What a terrific striker Diego Costa is, he is a tank, but a fast and technically gifted one and he can finish with both feet; aside from free-kick taking, he is the closest thing to Didier Drogba in the game right now in my opinion. Godin is a rock at the back, I really like this guy and his partner in defence, the LB Filipe, is also a great player. When Chelsea will be looking for a top class replacement for Cole, than Roman should bid for one of Filipe and Baines. Now, I'm so impressed with Koke, he is playing as a RM with Simeone, but his so versatile he can play everywhere in the midfield area. His passing is just phenomenal, he plays smart and simple, he moves, dribbles and passes the ball with an ease and grace. He is having a terrific season (I think he is one of the best playmakers in Spain, his numbers are very good) and he is developing into a great midfielder. I would even get Cholo Simeone too, to act as Jose's assistant manager, if that would be possible
  4. what for? Brasil against Korea Republic? and Zambia? I think Jose will stick to the same team he used against Steaua.
  5. I'm not even 10% surprised by the way he played last night because I know the type of player he is. I know him since his days in Mainz and this guy is full of talent and I'm sure he will grow here at Chelsea under Mourinho. For those of you watching Bundesliga closely, you would know until know that Bayer Leverkusen finished 3rd in Germany last season and is playing Champions League now because of two players - Schurrle and Kiessling. Andre was instrumental for Leverkusen in his spell there and I'm happy Jose gave him the chance to play in his natural position, the left wing. Great game last night, he was faultless, remembered me of that Andre Schurrle playing for Leverkusen. I'm impressed with his immense work-rate and I'm more impressed with the way he understands this football game, he is fast, direct and he is always looking to challenge defenders on 1-on-1 situations instead of slowing the tempo like Hazard does from time to time.
  6. Naaah, this is bullshit, he didn't storm out. Let me tell you what happened - Chelsea was represented at the press conference in Bucharest by Jose, Lamps and Chelsea's press officer. Jose had a normal behaviour, he was asked questions by both English and Romanian media and he answered them all. After some time, when Jose finished answering a question, Chelsea's press officer said something like: "Jose, please excuse me, we have to move to Frank Lampard for some quick questions because he has to do an interview for some television", and then Jose asked him: "It's ok, it is that all? do you need me anymore?", and Chelsea's press officer said: "Yes, one question and it is all over." and Jose said: "Ok.". And that last question happened to be about De Bruyne, but Jose didn't leave the press conference because of this, he left the press conference because he was told and he knew this was the last question before moving to Lamps.
  7. Something is going wrong in De Bruyne's head, he is underperforming and he was awful against Swindon. He was not just one of the worst players for Chelsea, but he was one of the worst players on the pitch! Knowing that this is a "WC season", I don't know what is wrong with this guy, he is a talented young lad, but he is a mess right now in terms of "mental strenght". He needs to be woken up, he needs to fight for his place, just like Mata does, and put a great performance when he is selected or else he'll end up just like Kakuta. Regarding this game, thank God there is a retractable roof on National Arena and a new turf too. Awful weather here, it has been raining since yesterday in the morning and the rain won't stop untill Wednesday in the morning. The atmosphere in the stadium will be very hot, but Chelsea should win this one. Steaua is weaker right now, they have lost Chiriches and Rusescu, their best players and some of their regulars are out-of-form, such as RW Popa, RB Georgievski and since Rusescu left the team, they can't find a proper CAM, they are rotating Stanciu with Iancu and Cristea, but none of them showed they can bring something new in this team. Also Chipciu, one of their best players is out with an injury. The game won't be a walk in the park for Chelsea and the concentration level should be high because this Steaua team could be dangerous, especially at home with 55,000 fans in the stands. They are at least at Basel's level, but I trust Chelsea to grab the three points here.
  8. Chelsea should have payed the money for Falcao! He is a proven striker and he is the best striker in the world if you ask me. 72 goals in 87 games for Porto, 70 goals in 91 matches for Atleti and now he is seven goals in seven matches with Monaco. This is what you call a real striker. Falcao is a terrific player. he is a goal machine, converting chances with his bonce, his pegs, any legal part of his anatomy. Just watch his games in Monaco and you will be amazed. He plays for the team, he's a real example of how a guy considered to be a "gold digger" should play, his work rate is phenomenal, he is enjoying playing football and he is Monaco's leader. Just watch the goal he scored in Paris - 99 of 100 players with have let that ball go or would have tried hit that ball with their leg, but Falcao went for that ball with his head. He is a warrior, a guy willing to do everything for his team, he is the type of guy Chelsea needs. But it is thought that there is a special release clause in Falcao's contract and it says that if Chelsea or Real Madrid bids the same amount Monaco paid for the colombian, the bid must be accepted! I remember Monaco's sporting director denied that there is such a clause, but he said this thing before Falcao signed the contract with Monaco. Eventually, spanish radio show "Punto Pelota" announced, after Falcao joined Monaco, that the rumours are true and there is a clause in Falcao's contract that becomes active from January 2014, allowing him to go to Chelsea or Real Madrid if this one of this two teams match the amount Monaco paid to Atleti. Falcao and his agent, Jorge Mendes (Jose Mourinho's agent, too) insisted for this clause to be added! We need to bid for Falcao in January and Jose needs to convince him to come here. Real Madrid will be sniffing around, they are not looking good this moment and reading today's reports from Spain, Perez is not happy with Benzema and Madrid will move for a new striker soon enough. Same reports are suggesting Ancelotti wants Mandzukic since his future will be in doubt with Lewandowski's arrival. So, Falcao is safe for the moment and since we need a Drogba-esque type of player, I think the colombian would perfectly fit in our team.
  9. yes, i know, they had a fantastic season in serie a, but i was only talking about that champions league group where they started with three draws out of three games and they had to win the last game of the group in Milano, against kazan, to qualify.
  10. calm down folks! mou will get things going soon, he's been in the same situation in 2009 with Milano if i remember well. The team struggled in the first two or three matches in that Champions League group and in the end they managed to go through thanks to a win against kazan, i think, in the last match of that group. And, guess what? Milano ended up as being Champions League winners. In Mou we trust!
  11. he looked good yesterday and he looks fit enough to play more than 60 minutes. You like it or not, but Chelsea was better with him on the pitch. Juan is one of my favourite players and, undoubtedly, he is our best attacking midfielder, but if Jose plans to use Oscar and KDB over him, then I would like him gone in January or in the summer. I'd be so fucking pissed, but this guy deserves more, he deserves to play week in, week out, he's our best player in the last two years, he's loyal, he's part of this Chelsea family and he's been a true soldier since his arrival from Spain. With all due respect to Oscar and KDB, but they are nowhere near to Mata's level.
"The 1st game is very important (against Schalke), for both club and players morale. I know what kind of players I have at my disposal and I'm sure we will win the three points and we will prove we are a strong team. This is the kind of mentality you have to have if you want to win trophies. I can't think of finishing this group in the 2nd place! How can I think about finishing in the 2nd place? I want the 1st place! Our goal is to finish 1st in this group."
  13. STAY FIT, MATE!!! Don't you dare getting injured or we're all fucked!
  14. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK ME i'm going to the church this sunday praying for Eto'o to be as healthy as a fucking bear this season. If he picks up a knock we're fucked. This must be a fucking joke, Lukaku going on loan and Demba Ba staying.................................
  15. PSG given 2 extra hours according to the Abu Dhabi news channel.
  16. Is there even anyone from Sky Sports ar Cobham? :ph34r2: The only thing I've seen about Chelsea was Jose leaving the training ground in a Ferrari
  17. I dream of him coming here since his days in Benfica. WHAT. A. PLAYER! We need a Witsel/Vidal type of player, but unfortunately I can't see any midfielder coming here in the next hours...
  18. Is there any reliable source reporting Chelsea's interest in Hulk? Right now Zenit's officials are in Kiev negociating Yarmolenko's transfer from Dynamo. Russian media speculates Yarmolenko will act as Hulk's replacement.
  19. Oscar Broström ‏@OscarBrostrom Dagens mest störda uppgift: PSG erbjuder Chelsea tio miljoner euro + Zlatan för Juan Mata. Ta det, Mourinho – kör! PSG willing to offer Zlatan plus €10m for Mata Guy is a reporter for Expressen in Sweden
  20. You know, there's a tv show here in Romania called "European Football". It is live on monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday and it's all about analysing tactics and talking abou what happened in week-end's matches in La Liga, Ligue 1, EPL and Serie A. So, let's stick to te subject - when the "La Liga night" comes, they have a live chat by phone with Gica Craioveanu. If you haven't heard of him, he is a former Sociedad, Villareal, Getafe and Romanian National Team player, football commentator in Spain and with some friends inside Real Madrid such as Iker, Sergio Ramos, Xabi, Arbeloa, Albiol (Napoli now) and others. Now to answer your question - I remember I was watching this tv show live just after Madrid's home game against Espanyol last season, ended in a 2-2 draw (nine or ten months ago). Real was coming after a defeat in Copa del Rey against Celta and Mourinho wasn't having the best of times at Madrid. Among other things, Craioveanu was asked about Ozil's situation in Madrid because spanish newspapers were talking about Mourinho not getting along with Ozil. Craioveanu said that, at that time, Mourinho had not spoken to Ozil for more than two months! A guy inside Madrid told him that (probably Albiol because he was Craioveanu's best friend there). Ozil was coming to the training ground, he was training properly, but for some reason Mourinho was mad at him and Ozil was the only player Jose wasn't talking to during a training session. He was passing the instructions for Ozil through his assistant, Aitor Karanka. He didn't send him to the "B" team, he was still a regular in Jose's team, but the two of them were not speaking to each other. Very strange, but this is what Craioveanu said in that tv show... And I tend to trust him because he ain't lying - he is a great guy and the tv station broadcasting the show is a sports related one (no gossips, no fights).
  21. I see you know something about that story, but you've missed some parts of it I guess . Actually, he is on a £300k a year salary, and you are right about that amount of money, but those money are coming from bonuses and a signing-on fee. Ruben's salary in his two-and-a-half year contract + signing-on fee + bonuses + some sponsorship deals = £1.7m. No way Chelsea could have been paying a 17yo w/o any competitive appearance that kind of money unless whe was Messi 2.0... Well, Lukaku was everything but an unproven player when he signed for Chelsea... I don't know if you followed him since his early days in Jupiler League, but he has had two full seasons with Anderlecht - first at the age of 16, when he scored 15 goals in 33 appearances, second at the age of 17 when he scored 16 goals in 37 appearances and he netted twice in two appearances in his 3rd season before joining Chelsea. He was one of the hottest properties in european football at that time. An he is now on a £2mil a year contract - seems legit. He earned this salary by scoring for fun in Jupiler League and people don't call him "the new Drogba" just because of his looks and because media says so... This is what happens to Bruma - that, my friend, you can call an unproven player - we know nothing about him, only that he is the new Cristiano, according to the media. He'll be 19 in two months. At that age, Lukaku already had won a championship title with Anderlecht and was on a great goal scoring ratio.
  22. Well, he is going to Galatasaray for a reported fee around €12mil, but the salaray that Galatasaray will be giving to Bruma is just insane - a five year contract worth €9mil for a guy turning 19... Bale goes to Madrid for €100mil, now this kid gets a contract worth almost €2mil a year, now what's next? Sturridge goes back to City next summer for €150mil and teams like Monaco and PSG will start signing kids aged 17-18 for a €6mil a year contract?... There were reports saying Bruma will end up being a Chelsea player, and I think the reports were true. I think Chelsea and Sporting had reached an agreement at some point, but when Chelsea saw Bruma's demands, the transfer failed... I don't think Chelsea would have offered him a contract worth more than €600k a year.
  23. I've seen him playing for both Porto and Ghana in AFCON. He is Xerdan Shaqiri 2.0 Black Edition. Two or three inches taller than Shaqiri, but they both have the same attributes: great dribbling skills, quick feet, they are both fast and furios and Atsu's long range shots are quite impecable at times, missiles reaching their target. Top bargain!
  24. Actually, mate, do a research and stop with this fucking hate. Kerimov, Anzhi's owner, has a big respect for Eto'o and, even though he said he wants to get rid of all the players with big wages, he told Samuel that in case he won't sign with any club untill the deadline day, he'll be free to stay in Anzhi without taking a salary cut.
  25. I was so fucking pissed, we were seconds away of lifting the trophy. Then I went to the window and took a deep breath. I don't give a shit about this Supercup or World Club Championship or any other trophy of this kind. The Champions League and Premier League is what it counts this season and I bet Wenger, Pellegrini and Moyes are so fucking pissing in their pants now. We will be even stronger after this game. We've been the better side against what is called "the best team in Europe", untill Ramires was sent off. Fair play to Bayern, they are the winners in the end, but there is no way they were the better team here. Oscar!!!, Ivanovic, Luiz could have sent them back home untill the ET. Cech with a majestic performance, Oscar's work rate was unbelievable, Hazard showed what he is made of, Cahill and Luiz were brilliant. Chelsea was tremendous today! Lukaku, CHEER UP! Don't fucking hate him because of a penalty missed in a meaningless trophy. He'll win trophies for us in the future. He's just a kid, I admit he should not have had taken the decisive penalty, but it doesn't matter anymore. Stay positive, guys! This is just one of the many finals we've played under Mou. There are lots to come and lots of trophies are waiting for us!
